Abstract: In systems and methods of transmitting information to a wireless device, information is received at a first access node from a second access node over a communication link between the first and second access nodes, the information comprising an indication of whether the transmission of a resource block at the first access node may cause interference with a transmission at the second access node. The first access node transmits the resource block when it is determined that the transmission at the first access node will not interfere with a transmission at the second access node.

Abstract: Loading information of an access node and a random access failure rate at the access node are determined, wherein the access node is using a first physical random access channel (PRACH) configuration index. Based on the comparison of the loading information to a loading criteria and the comparison of the random access failure rate to a failure rate criteria, a second PRACH configuration index is selected for the access node.

Abstract: An application requirement and a mobility is determined for each of a first plurality of wireless devices in communication with a first access node. Based on the respective application requirement and mobility, a priority of each of the first plurality of wireless devices. At least one wireless device comprising a priority meeting a priority criteria is selected from among the first plurality of wireless devices, and a transmission power of a signal between the first access node and the selected at least one wireless device is reduced.
