Abstract: A computer-implemented method is proposed for determining a new location for a merchant. The method comprises: a) obtaining transaction data for a plurality of cardholders; b) obtaining location data for said cardholders; c) combining the location data with the transaction data; d) analyzing the locations of cardholders performing transactions at a particular merchant or type of merchant to determine any localities within which multiple cardholders performing such transactions are located; and e) assessing such localities on the basis of one or more economic factors to determine whether to recommend said locality as a new location for the merchant or type of merchant.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of processing an e-commerce order is provided. The method includes receiving, at an e-commerce server, an indication of an order including an indication of delivery information. The delivery information includes geolocation information and location specification information, the geolocation information includes latitude and longitude coordinates of the delivery destination, and the location specification information includes an indication of a vertical coordinate of the delivery destination. The method also includes generating delivery instructions for a courier to deliver at least one product to the delivery destination, the instructions comprising the geolocation information and the location specification information.

Abstract: Method and system for displaying an advertisement on a payment card. The method may be executed using a computer coupled to a database and the payment card may comprise a display screen. The method includes: retrieving, using the computer, an advertisement stored on the database; and transmitting the advertisement from the computer to the payment card for displaying the advertisement on the display screen, wherein at least one pre-defined rule is applied to determine the retrieval of the advertisement from the database and/or transmittal of the advertisement to the payment card.

Abstract: The method comprises: obtaining observation data from a first client, wherein the observation data is associated with a second client; obtaining a plurality of marketing messages; ranking the plurality of marketing messages based on the observation data associated with the second client; and sequentially providing, upon identification of the second client, the ranked marketing messages to the second client in rank order.
