  • Publication number: 20260321440
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during stages of a medical case. The collaborative medical platform receives telemetry data or video data from a location that does not identify a medical practitioner or a medical procedure. Using characteristics of medical practitioners maintained by the collaborative medical platform and the telemetry data or video data, the collaborative medical platform selects a medical practitioner connected to the telemetry data or video data. The collaborative medical platform stores a connection between the selected medical practitioner and the telemetry data or video data. Subsequently, the collaborative medical platform may select procedure cards maintained for the selected medical practitioner for the type of medical procedure and identify deviations between one or more of the selected procedure cards and the telemetry data or video data.

  • Publication number: 20260290623
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural stages of a medical case. The collaborative medical platform selects and presents reference content items, such as video and associated data of a previously completed medical procedure, relevant to one or more medical procedures to a medical practitioner. Based on characteristics of a medical practitioner, the collaborative medical platform selects one or more reference content items with attributes matching, or otherwise related to, at least one characteristic of the medical practitioner. Prior interactions by the medical practitioner with reference content items may be leveraged to select reference content items or to determine when to present a selected reference content item to the medical practitioner.

  • Publication number: 20260290565
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural stages of a medical case. The collaborative medical platform receives a request from a medical practitioner for evaluation along with a selection of a framework for evaluation and a segment of data describing performance of a medical procedure for evaluation. The collaborative medical platform may transmit an evaluation request including the selected framework and the selected segment to a selected evaluating medical practitioner who provides evaluation results. Alternatively, the collaborative medical platform applies an evaluation model to the selected framework and to the selected segment to automatically generate evaluation results. The evaluation results may be used to select educational content items for the medical practitioner.

  • Publication number: 20260290622
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural stages of a medical case. In a preprocedural stage, the collaborative medical platform collects various data relevant to a medical procedure and enables various medical practitioners to exchange data to support preparation for the medical procedure. In the intraprocedural stage, the platform facilitates telepresence sessions to enable real-time collaboration during a procedure. During the postprocedural stage, the collaborative medical platform may generate various metrics relevant to evaluating performance. The collaborative medical platform may furthermore intelligently generate recommendation or other content based on the captured preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural data.

  • Publication number: 20260290598
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural stages of a medical case. The collaborative medical platform receives telemetry data or video data captured during one or more medical procedures. The collaborative medical platform generates training data for one or more machine learning models using received video data. Based on connections between users and video data, the collaborative medical platform identifies users to annotate video data for generating training data. Through interaction with the collaborative medical platform, one or more of the identified medical practitioners annotate the video data, and the collaborative medical platform generates training data from the annotated video data. Additionally, the collaborative medical platform may distribute machine-learning models trained using the locally generated training examples to users.

  • Publication number: 20260289711
Abstract: A collaborative medical platform facilitates remote collaboration relating to medical procedures during preprocedural, intraprocedural, and postprocedural stages of a medical case. The collaborative medical platform selects one or more educational content items relating to a medical procedure for a medical practitioner based on captured data describing performance of the medical procedure. Each educational content item is associated with one or more baseline criteria to which data describing performance of the medical procedure is compared. The collaborative medical platform selects an educational content item associated with a baseline criterion from which the data describing performance of the medical procedure differs and presents the selected educational content item to the medical practitioner. The educational content item may be presented during an intraprocedural or a postprocedural stage of the medical procedure.

  • Publication number: 20100226926
Abstract: Disclosed herein, in certain embodiments, is a method of treating breast cancer characterized by the amplification of HER2 genes in a subject in need thereof, comprising: (a) isolating a tissue sample comprised of a plurality of breast tumor cells; (b) isolating a first section from said tissue sample; (c) isolating a second section from an adjacent portion of said tissue sample; (d) contacting the first section with a first stain; (e) contacting the second section with a probe; (f) imaging the first section following contact with the stain to produce a first image; (g) analyzing the first image for abnormal microscopic features; (h) identifying areas of interest in the first image that display abnormal microscopic features; (i) electronically annotating the first image to identify the areas of interest; (j) imaging the second section following contact with the probe; (k) aligning the first image and the second image; and (l) analyzing areas of interest in the second image that correspond to an area of intere
