    Abstract: A coin feed device for the release mechanism of a vending machine. The release mechanism includes a latch with a cam and the latch is released by a coin engaging the cam. The feed device comprises a tube of thin rectangular cross section and has a coin inlet at one end and an outlet at the other end. The outlet end has an extended cross-section projecting from one wall and a movable element engages the wall and extends into the extended cross-section to allow the size of the outlet to be selectively adjusted.
