    Abstract: A device for locking a slewing portion of a cargo crane relative to a stationary portion thereof, comprising stops arranged respectively on these portions of the crane, and appliances for holding these stops in contact with each other at locking. The stops are rigidly secured on appropriate portions of the crane so that in the process of locking these stops are arranged at a certain distance from each other, and each appliance for holding these stops in contact is a drive-operated wedge to be placed between these stops in the process of locking.
