  • Patent number: 11612318
Abstract: A clinician eye camera apparatus, networked system, and medium to record eye images using the three different types of light to diagnose different medical conditions/disorders, comprising: 1) a camera unit housing a) a front PCB with a plurality of LED's and a middle aperture to fit a rear camera lens; b) a middle camera filter unit, comprising a plurality of light filters, and a servo motor with a propeller that rotates the light filters into position in front of a rear camera lens; c) the rear camera lens; and 2) a pivotable arm assembly comprising a top end unit attachable to the camera unit, and a middle handle unit pivotably attached to an arm unit. The arm assembly can be used in a straight handheld mode; or bent 90 degrees for mounting in a slit lamp. Images are transmitted to a clinician computer and/or a remoter server.

  • Publication number: 20140217788
Abstract: A vehicle safety device for decreasing injury to occupants resulting from a collision, comprising enhanced impact absorbing apparatuses: (1) headrests and seatbacks with conical or cylindrical holes and layers of material to absorb impact forces; (2) 4 embodiments of apparatuses attaching the headrests to the seatback comprising shock absorption means to reduce whiplash injuries; (3) spring loaded means of attaching the seat bottom to the vehicle floor to provide the seats recoil mechanisms for collisions from all directions; (4) seatbelts with all points of contact to the seat to provide the seatbelts recoil mechanisms, and comprising gel and/or foam layers and a flexible weave design; (5) seat tilt mechanisms that enable the seat to recoil during a collision; and (6) airbags with multiple layers of material of increasing impact absorption from the occupants to the dashboard and steering wheel.

  • Patent number: 6936793
Abstract: A solder reflow oven with horizontal cyclonic convection air flow for enhancing equalized heating of printed circuit boards conveyed therethrough. Air circulation apparatus can include a first air movement fan for urging air to move horizontally laterally from the first side wall of the oven toward the second side wall of the oven across and above printed circuit boards being conveyed therethrough. A second air fan is positioned below and laterally displaced from the conveying means for directing a second air stream below the first air stream and oppositely oriented in order to urge movement of heated air across the undersurface of the conveyor for enhancing equalization of heating of the printed circuits boards thereupon. Preferably, both blowers are oriented to move air approximately perpendicularly with respect to the direction of movement of the conveyed printed circuit boards in opposite respective directions thereabove and therebelow.
