  • Publication number: 20260066683
Abstract: A method for offsetting power used by an air conditioning system coupled to an AC power grid at a point of common coupling (PCC), the method including: receiving a point of common coupling (PCC) setpoint, a charge limit, a discharge limit and a power demand of the first unit; selecting an operating mode from the following operating modes: a normal mode during which a first unit of the air conditioning system is powered by only the AC power grid; a charging mode during which the first unit of the air conditioning system is powered by only the AC power grid and an energy storage device is charged, a discharging mode during which the first unit of the air conditioning system is powered by both the AC power grid and the energy storage device.

  • Patent number: 12562574
Abstract: A method operates a power grid, which has a DC voltage circuit and an AC voltage circuit, which are electrically connected by a converter. The AC voltage circuit has a supply connection for connecting to a supply network, and an energy store and a generator are connected to the DC voltage circuit. A predicted power of an electrical power provided by the generator is ascertained for a time window, and an energy value that corresponds to the proportion of the predicted power above a power value of the converter is ascertained. A desired state of charge of the energy store that corresponds to a maximum energy that is able to be stored by the energy store minus the energy value is ascertained. The energy store is charged up to a maximum of the desired state of charge if an actual power of the generator is less than the power value.

  • Publication number: 20250350114
Abstract: A method validates an electrical energy system in a building. The method includes providing a connection pattern of the electrical energy system. The connection pattern describes an arrangement of a plurality of components of the electrical energy system and the relative position and connections of the components. The method further includes setting the electrical energy system into a first operating state by driving at least one component. At least one measurement value is acquired in the first operating state. A plausibility check is carried out as a function of the at least one measurement value and the provided connection pattern. A signal is output as a function of the result of the plausibility check.
