  • Patent number: 4977707
Abstract: The essence of the device resides in the fact that an electromagnetic system is provided with an additional pair (3) of pole pieces (5) mounted opposite a first pair (2) and displaced into respect to the latter, lengthwise a longitudinal axis (0.sub.1 --0.sub.1) of a component (15) to be machined, for a distance L=(0.2 to 1.0)D, where D is the diameter of the pole pieces, said pole pieces (4;5) in each of the pairs (2,3) being kinematically associated with each other, set on a common axis of rotation (0--0) and featuring an oppositely directed eccentricity (e) with respect to that axis.

  • Patent number: 4344313
Abstract: A hydropunch comprises a cylinder, with one end thereof facing the working surface of a die intended for positioning thereon a workpiece to be treated. Accommodated inside the cylinder and forming an above-the-ram chamber and a below-the-ram chamber is a ram which is actuated by means of a suitable actuator mounted on that end of the cylinder which is opposite to the aforementioned end thereof, the ram being connected with a system for returning the ram to its original position. In addition, the hydropunch includes a compressed gas receiver communicating with the above-the-ram chamber of the cylinder, and a cover adapted for closing both the cylinder and receiver. In accordance with the invention, the system for returning the ram to its original position comprises a closed chamber communicating with the below-the-ram chamber of the cylinder, and a value intended for communicating the above-the-ram chamber with the atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 4313334
Abstract: The herein disclosed mechanism comprises a compressed gas receiver, a shaft with a striker movable therein, and control and working cylinders arranged in series one after the other, whose pistons are interconnected by means of a rod. According to the present invention, said working cylinder is mounted in the receiver and defines a circular space between the end of the receiver and the end of the shaft. In so doing, said circular space communicates with the receiver space while the piston of said working cylinder is mounted for movement relative to the rod to permit pressure from the receiver to pass and drive the striker for a working stroke.

  • Patent number: 4169713
Abstract: The machine for three-dimensional polishing of workpieces shaped as solids of revolution in a magnetic field using ferromagnetic abrasive powder comprises an electromagnetic system having an air gap for the ferromagnetic abrasive powder to retain therein, spindles for the workpieces being machined to hold, a mechanism for traversing the spindles adapted for the workpieces being machined to pass through the air gap of the electromagnetic system, and mechanisms for the spindles to rotate round their own axes and oscillate. The spindle oscillating mechanism comprises a cam held in position to the spindle and adapted to engage, with its shaped face, the eccentric roller whose shaft is square with the axis of rotation of the spindle carrying the cam.
