  • Patent number: 9083128
Abstract: In one aspect, a set of male and female bus bars is provided. The male bus bar includes first and second conductors and an insulation layer therebetween. The male bus bar has a male connecting portion with one or more fingers. The female bus bar third and fourth conductors and an insulation layer therebetween. The female bus bar has a female connecting portion with one or more receptacles, each having contact surfaces that are free of insulation and that are positioned to contact contact surfaces on an associated finger which are free of insulation so as to connect the first conductor and the third conductor and to connect the second conductor and the fourth conductor. Each finger has a width. A gap exists between the contact surfaces of an associated receptacle. The width and gap are sized to provide a press fit between the fingers and the receptacles.

  • Publication number: 20090083980
Abstract: A method for producing a cooling body including cooling ribs for an electronic housing, in particular for the automotive industry, includes producing extruded profile slabs having cooling ribs which extend in a parallel manner. The profile slabs are disposed next to each other in relation to a surface which includes cooling ribs that are disposed in parallel. The profile slabs are cut to length by a profile circular saw having step profiles. In this way, the production process for producing a cooling body from extruded aluminum is variable for the first time in relation to the shape of the cooling body in such a way that the individual requirements in the electronic housing in relation to heat which is to be withdrawn, sealing between the housing and cooling body, and size of the cooling body, are taken into account. It is particularly suitable for use in the automotive industry.

  • Patent number: 6364086
Abstract: A chain of rolling elements comprises a plurality of rolling elements and an elongate carrier belt with a plurality of recesses for receiving the rolling elements, a plurality of retainers for retaining the rolling elements received in the recesses and at least one elongate flexible element for connecting the retainers. The carrier belt comprises two lateral edge portions and a central portion connecting them, the retainers being connected to the at least one flexible element in the lateral edge regions of the carrier belt. Separate retainers are associated with successive rolling elements, at least one retainer associated with each rolling element being provided on the at least one flexible element in the longitudinal direction thereof before and after each rolling element.

  • Patent number: 6203199
Abstract: A linear guide device comprises a guide carriage having two end assemblies (32, 34, 36) arranged on the front ends of the guide carriage. The guide carriage is guided on a guide rail in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the device by means of rolling member loops (S1, S2). Within the end units (32) of the end assemblies (32, 34, 36) are provided parts of reversing guides for arcuate rows of rolling members of the rolling member loops (S1, S2). A lubricant path system (110, 114, 116, 120) is provided within the guide carriage for satisfying a lubricant demand existing on the roll surfaces of the linear guide device. The lubricant path system includes, in a boundary region between an end unit (32) and a carriage main body, a lubricant oil supply capillary line (110) extending in circumferential direction of the guide rail and being formed of a suction member. The lubricant oil supply capillary line supplies lubricating oil to a licking region (114) irrespective of the existence of a pressure difference.

  • Patent number: 6200031
Abstract: The present invention relates to a linear guide arrangement comprising a guide rail with at least one axis and at least one guide carriage movable on the guide rail in the direction of the axis. The guide carriage runs on the guide rail with intermediacy of an endless rolling-element circuit. To this end, the guide carriage is designed with a guide carriage housing and with a carriage member made separately from the guide carriage housing and accommodated within the guide carriage housing. The guide carriage housing comprises at least one side panel adjacent to the rolling-element circuit and substantially parallel to the axial direction, as well as at least one end plate adjacent to the rolling-element circuit and substantially orthogonal to the axial direction. The bearing row of rolling elements runs on the carriage member.
