  • Publication number: 20210381053
Abstract: In vitro pharmacogenomic screening method for anticipating a patient's response to the treatment of ocular hypertension A method for in vitro screening a patient's response to the treatment of ocular hypertension involves obtaining a sample of a biological fluid from a patient, and determining the number of copies of an intronic portion of gene MLIP (MLIP-AS1). Detection of more than one copy of said MLIP-AS1 is an indication that the patient is a responder to a treatment with prostaglandins. Detection of less than one copy of MLIP-AS1 is an indication that the patient is a responder to a treatment with ?-blockers.

  • Patent number: 9212199
Abstract: The present invention relates to an iridium-based catalyst compound for hydrogenating reducible moieties, especially imines and iminiums, the catalyst compounds being defined by the formulas: where ring B is either itself polycyclic, or ring B together with R is polycyclic. The catalysts of the invention are particularly effective in reductive amination procedures 10 which involve the in situ generation of the imine or iminium under reductive hydrogenative conditions.

  • Publication number: 20150073165
Abstract: The present invention relates to an iridium-based catalyst compound for hydrogenating reducible moieties, especially imines and iminiums, the catalyst compounds being defined by the formula: (Formula (I)) where ring B is a conjugated ring system with one or more substituents. The catalysts of the invention are particularly effective in reductive amination procedures which involve the in situ generation of the imine or iminium under reductive hydrogenative conditions.

  • Publication number: 20060063953
Abstract: A process for the nitration of conjugated alkenes of formula (I) wherein R, R1, R2, R3 and R4 have the meanings reported in the description, which allows to obtain the corresponding ?-nitro-alkenes, characterised in that the nitrating agent is a mixture of an inorganic nitrite and iodine in the presence of an oxidising agent is described.
