  • Publication number: 20240237074
Abstract: A method for updating an associated ID (AID) in a network when a Basic Service Set (BSS) color change occurs is provided. The network includes an Access Point (AP) and a plurality of associated stations (STAs). The method includes: detecting a color collision; setting a new BSS color in response to the color collision; configuring an AID update request frame, wherein an updated AID according to the new BSS color is inserted into a subElement Information Element (IE) field of the AID update request frame; and sending the AID update request frame to the plurality of associated STAs to inform the associated STAs of the updated AID.

Abstract: A multi-link device (MLD) operates in a 6 GHz band including a plurality of channels including preferred scanning channels (PSC channels) and non-preferred scanning channels (non-PSC channels), wherein the channels occupy 20 MHz of the 6 GHz band. The MLD includes: a first access point (AP), which initiates its Basic Service Set (BSS) on one of the PSC channels, and sends out Beacon, Probe Response or Fast Initial Link Setup (FILS) discovery frames for association by at least a Station (STA) scanning the 6 GHz band; and at least a second AP, which initiates its BSS on one of the non-PSC channels. The first AP includes information of the second AP in a Neighbour report (NR) or Reduced Neighbour Report (RNR) element in the Beacon, Probe Response or FILS discovery frames.

  • Patent number: 11523404
Abstract: A communication network element may send to a plurality of wireless devices a base radio link priority model that provides as an output a first prioritization of radio links. The wireless devices may generate trained radio link priority models using machine learning based on one or more attempts to establish a communication link with the communication network. The communication network element may receive trained radio link priority models from one or more wireless devices, update the base radio link priority model, and send to the wireless devices an updated base radio link priority model that provides as an output a second prioritization of radio links.

  • Patent number: 11216778
Abstract: Techniques are provided for automatically detecting disruptive orders for a supply chain. One method comprises obtaining a quote for an order; extracting features from the quote; and applying the extracted features to a disruptive quote machine learning engine that generates an anomaly score indicating a likelihood that the quote will cause a disruption, based on one or more predefined disruption criteria. The disruptive quote machine learning engine may employ an isolation forest algorithm and/or a multi-dimensional anomaly detection algorithm. The disruptive quote machine learning engine may be trained using historical order information comprising part-level information from historical orders and/or a manufacturing production plan comprising an inventory forecast.

  • Publication number: 20200367124
Abstract: Examples pertaining to synchronization of one or more clients and an access point (AP) during channel switch in wireless communications are described. An apparatus acting as an AP of a wireless network transmits a channel switch announcement (CSA) on a first channel to each of one or more clients in the wireless network. The AP then performs a channel switch from the first channel to a second channel. The AP also determines whether at least a first client of the one or more clients has switched to the second channel by transmitting a unicast frame on the second channel to the first client.

  • Patent number: 10264526
Abstract: Examples pertaining to adaptive traffic indication map (TIM) setup policy for client devices in power-save mode in a dense environment are provided. An apparatus may determine an amount of available time for access to a transmission medium. The apparatus (e.g., access point) may select a subset of one or more communication devices from a plurality of communication devices (e.g., client devices) associated with the apparatus based at least in part on the amount of available time. The apparatus may also signal to the selected subset of the one or more communication devices to cause the one or more communication devices to switch from a first mode to a second mode. The apparatus may further transmit buffered data to at least one communication device of the subset of one or more communication devices during the available time.

  • Patent number: 10264128
Abstract: A dynamic contact management system is provided for managing customer contacts in a customer service center and dynamically determining which actions to take—or which actions are permitted to be taken—with respect to customer contacts. The system can process data regarding attributes of an agent or group of agents, and generate scores to use in making the dynamic determinations. Based on the scores, the system can temporarily authorize agents to perform actions that they would not otherwise be authorized to perform, assign customer contacts to agents who are most likely to resolve a contact in a satisfactory manner, generate dynamic comparisons of agents, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20170048855
Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed for enabling improved service acquisition on at least one SIM of a wireless communication device. After a first SIM has lost service, the wireless communication device may identify, in a first radio access technology (RAT) priority list configured to support the first SIM, a highest ranked radio access technology. The wireless communication device may search a local wireless environment for networks associated with the identified radio access technology, and determine whether any network associated with the identified radio access technology is available, Upon determining that the no network associated with the identified radio access technology is available, the wireless communication device may update the RAT priority list associated with the first SIM.
