Patent number: 10318689Abstract: A computer-implemented method for modifying an original design of an integrated circuit in accordance with an engineering change order (ECO) design includes cloning complex logic gate having multiple logic functions with cloned logic gates in parallel with the corresponding complex logic gates in the original design and the ECO design and expanding each cloned logic gate to corresponding base functionality logic gates to provide an expanded original design and an expanded ECO design using the processor. The method also includes modifying at least a portion of the expanded original design to have a circuit topology that is the same as the expanded ECO design in order to have an input from the expanded original design to an output structure be the same as the input from the expanded ECO design to the output structure in response to an expanded original design input and an expanded ECO design input being non-equivalent.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2017Date of Patent: June 11, 2019Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: George Antony, Ankit N. Patent number: 9216244Abstract: An apparatus for connecting multi-lumen conduits may include a conduit adapter and a conduit collar. The conduit adapter may include a housing, a bayonet connector, and a support member connecting the housing and the bayonet connector. The support member has an aperture that permits fluid communication through the support member. One end of the conduit collar is sized for insertion into the housing, and a second end is adapted to receive a first multi-lumen conduit. The housing also is adapted to receive a second multi-lumen conduit. The bayonet connector engages a primary lumen of the first multi-lumen conduit and the second multi-lumen conduit such that the primary lumen of the second multi-lumen conduit fluidly communicates with the primary lumen of the first multi-lumen conduit. The conduit adapter and the conduit collar are capable of 360 degree rotation relative to each other about a common axis.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2011Date of Patent: December 22, 2015Assignee: KCI Licensing, Inc.Inventors: Vinay K. Singh, Larry D. Swain, Douglas A. Cornet, Robert Peyton Wilkes, Keith Patrick Heaton, Christopher Brian Locke, Timothy Mark Robinson

Patent number: 8629135Abstract: A class of compounds useful in pharmaceutical compositions and methods for treating or preventing cancer is described. The compounds' ability to inhibit RET kinase is quantified, i.e., their respective RET IC50 and EC50 values are described. One such compound, known as cyclobenzaprine and herein as SW-01, has been identified as RET-specific with an IC50 of 300 nM. SW-01 inhibits RET autophosphorylation and blocks the growth and transformation of thyroid cancer cell lines. It has been further tested in pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, and SCLC cell lines. The compounds show utility for inhibition of survival and proliferation of tumor cells.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2009Date of Patent: January 14, 2014Assignee: Queen's University at KingstonInventors: Taranjit S. Gujral, Lois M. Mulligan, Vinay K. Singh
