  • Publication number: 20130090952
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable media for transferring control over input of data to electronic forms. An electronic insurance application form including a plurality of form fields for receiving input data is displayed to a consumer. Control over input of data to the form fields is associated with an identifier of the consumer in an access control table for the electronic insurance application form. A request to transfer control over input of data to the form fields to an insurance agent is received from the consumer. The access control table for the electronic insurance application form is updated to associate control over input of data to the form fields with an identifier of the insurance agent. Data describing the electronic insurance application form is transferred to the insurance agent.

  • Publication number: 20120179987
Abstract: The present invention provides a computationally efficient system and method for developing extensible and configurable Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for Database-centric Business application Product Lines using model driven techniques and also reduce the cost as well as time for creating new GUIs for Database-centric Business application Product Lines that enables effective maintenance and smooth evolution using model driven technique. The invention provides modeling of commonality and variability of GUI thus leading to a single GUI for Database-centric Business application Product Lines. The invention enables a model-based solution to address extensibility and configurability of both structural and behavioral aspects in a GUI of Database-centric Business application Product Lines and it also support to realize variations at runtime in the presentation layer by using the variable fields which can check the configuration data from a configuration database and decide whether to render itself or not.

  • Publication number: 20120102451
Abstract: The present invention provides a computationally efficient system for developing configurable, extensible business application product lines using model-driven techniques. The invention enables to create a common business application with a set of pre-defined variants, selection of a suitable variant from the pre-defined set, and composition of the common application with the selected variant into a purpose-specific business application and also provides for modeling of commonality and variability thus leading to a single specification. The invention provides model-based solution to address extensibility and configurability of both structural and behavioral aspects in a functionality dimension of database intensive business application and it supports configuration process at three different stages of application development (i.e. design time, installation time and run time) of database intensive business application.

  • Publication number: 20120053974
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and method for developing a set of business process definitions sharing the common business intent as a business process family using model-driven techniques. The present invention minimizes on development time and resources thus leading to a cost effective system and method for developing business process families. The invention enables to create a business process family which can be easily configured to behave as a specific business process thus meeting the needs of a set of apriori known situations. The invention supports configuration process at different stages (i.e. design time, and run time) of the business process application and also support extension of the configuration structure at different stages (i.e. design time, and run time). The invention enables to create a business process family which can be easily extended to meet the needs of an as yet unseen situation.

  • Publication number: 20070198562
Abstract: In a system for bridging one or more legacy systems with one or more component systems for data communication, a method for integrating application processes with one another includes steps for (a) expressing all application behavior using a modeling language; (b) transforming those expressions into process automata; (c) organizing composition settings comprising the process automata; and (d) analyzing process automata for integration safety and for integration completeness properties of the process automata using a deterministic finite automata library and leveraging its base functions.

  • Patent number: 7200135
Abstract: A method for minimizing searching time for a transport format selection in a CDMA communication system including an RLC layer and an MAC layer. The RLC layer entity contains a plurality of logical channels and transmits input data to the MAC layer through a specific logical channel from among the logical channels. The MAC layer contains a plurality of transport channels and transmits the input data to a physical layer through a specific transport channel from among the transport channels. Transport formats are generated for the transport channels, and classified according to sizes of data that can be transmitted by corresponding transport channels. An indicator is provided to each of the transport formats classified according to data size, and a plurality of subset tables are generated.

  • Patent number: 6597355
Abstract: A method of recognizing holes and hole chains in a solid model of a part and suppressing at least some of these holes and hole chains in the solid model. In general, the method analyzes each face of a solid model to determine if it is a closed periodic face and, if so, it determines the partner faces of each of the two external loops of the closed periodic face. The closed periodic face is considered to be the shell of a hole and the partner faces are considered to be the end faces of the hole. Hole chains are recognized by determining holes that share an axis and an end loop and interaction of these hole chains is recognized by determining hole chains that share a common loop but have dissimilar axes. Suppression of the suppressible holes is completed by providing to the geometric kernel listings of interacting hole chains for deletion.
