  • Patent number: 10069645
Abstract: A flexible link system and approach for dynamically switching among wall modules of various types without re-engineering an associated controller application. Some of the types of wall modules may incorporate those of Sylk, BACnet and conventional types. A wall module type switching mechanism may incorporate a controller incorporating an application having a flexible link for the connection of wall modules of various types. The flexible link may enable a number of data points of the application to be applicable to various types of wall modules in that switching from a wall module of one type to a wall module of another type does not necessarily require another set of data points in the application.

  • Publication number: 20180012173
Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for multi-user commissioning are described herein. One system includes a mobile computing device comprising computer readable instructions stored thereon that are executable by a processor to: retrieve configuration data for a physical controller from a remote database, install the configuration data on the physical controller, receive data associated with a status of the physical controller after the configuration data is installed on the physical controller, and synchronize the data associated with the status of the physical controller with the remote database.

  • Publication number: 20170371357
Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for water balancing are described herein. An example device can include a memory and a processor configured to execute executable instructions stored in the memory. The instructions can be executed to send a command from a building controller to balance a subset of a plurality of valves. The instructions can be executed to simultaneously balance the subset of the plurality of valves associated with a plurality of building systems, based on the command, and without accessing any of the plurality of valves individually.

  • Publication number: 20170147018
Abstract: An automatic master slave system and approach for coordinated control of a parameter, for example, a heating, ventilation and air conditioning condition, in an area of multiple spaces controlled by room controllers. Changing a layout of a zone/area in a building such as moving, adding or removing a door, increasing or splitting size of a room through movable walls, or by permanently removing partitions, changing offices to a conference room or vice versa, may occur. A size of a room may be altered within minutes, according to customer demand. For instance, rooms may be converted into a single room by removing partitions. The controllers that were controlling temperatures of the rooms independently earlier, may convert automatically into a master-slave configuration and now work together to control a larger room. If the large room is split into multiple rooms, the controllers may automatically revert to their previous configuration.

  • Publication number: 20150066810
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for obtaining a deterministic value for one or more financial products. This invention defines one or more rules to obtain the deterministic value for the one or more financial products. The one or more rules include an interest rule, a principal rule and a currency rule. The one or more rules are attached to the one or more financial products and executed at the time of cash flow event calculation to obtain the deterministic value of the interest, the mode of payment and the currency of payment for the one or more financial products.

  • Patent number: 6918953
Abstract: A pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system including a first group of PSA modules having a plurality of first PSA modules, and a second group of PSA modules having a plurality of second PSA modules. The system includes a feed gas manifold, a product manifold, and a waste manifold connected to the first PSA modules and the second PSA modules. Each first PSA module operates on a first PSA cycle in synchronization with the other first PSA modules, and each second PSA module operates on a second PSA cycle in synchronization with the other second PSA modules. The first PSA cycle is offset from the second PSA cycle. The PSA modules include a plurality of pressurized adsorbent chambers, an inlet manifold, and an outlet manifold. A rigid structure is provided that connects the inlet manifold to the outlet manifold, and structurally joins the inlet and outlet manifolds to the adsorbent chambers.

  • Patent number: 6887301
Abstract: A method for reducing shock during a flow of fluid between a higher pressure vessel and a lower pressure vessel. The method includes the steps of providing a conduit between the higher pressure vessel and the lower pressure vessel, and minimizing a rate of pressure change within the second vessel caused by the flow of fluid along the conduit from the higher pressure vessel. The minimizing step includes controlling a rate of flow of fluid between the first vessel and the second vessel over a predetermined duration.
