  • Patent number: 10096265
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include methods and apparatuses for pre-action gaming. For example, in an aspect, a method is presented for constructing a user-controllable image, comprising obtaining anatomical and physiological data associated with a body, storing the anatomical and physiological data in a database; and creating the user-controllable image based on the stored anatomical and physiological data, wherein the user-controllable image is configurable to a user, wherein at least a moveable portion of the user-controllable image is constructed to move based on input from a user, and wherein the user-controllable image is constructed so as to enable pre-action training the user. As such, victims of traumatic brain injury or other neurological setbacks may pre-train their nervous system for use of one or more injured body parts.

  • Publication number: 20080003554
Abstract: This invention provides users with control of simulated movements of idiosyncratically controllable images. Images are directed to perform segments of simulated movements in reverse order of usual physical movements. Displays of demonstrative images show segments of usual physical movements. Users idiosyncratically direct controllable images to make reverse segments of simulated movements thereby learning usual sequences of actual physical movements.

  • Publication number: 20050250083
Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus to develop motor skills-based tutorial and interactive instruction. It is well-suited as an aid to instructors, trainers, coaches and officials (collectively “instructors”), at all levels of expertise in both sport and non-sport activities. The invention provides the means to develop relatively economical training simulations (“pre-training”). Instructors develop instructor-controllable image movements to demonstrate pre-training lessons to users.

  • Publication number: 20050245825
Abstract: A method and system for assessing fetal abnormality based on landmarks. According to one embodiment, at least two coordinates are received for each of a plurality of points identifying a configuration of landmarks in a fetal image, and any of the received coordinates of any of the plurality of points are utilized as markers to assess fetal abnormality. According to another embodiment, at least two coordinates are received for each of a plurality of points identifying a configuration of landmarks in a fetal image, and one or more values resulting from a linear combination of any of the received coordinates of any of the plurality of points are utilized as markers to assess fetal abnormality.

  • Patent number: 6889917
Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device having a cleaning head mounted by a quick disconnect coupler to be independently pivotal about at least two axes. In one form, the coupler has a body with a socket receiving a plug end of the cleaning device which is retained by a button actuated, spring biased latching ring preventing axial separation from the coupler until the button is depressed. In another form, spring biased opposing jaws releasably clamp the head to the device. A swivel member pivotally mounts to either the coupler body or opposing jaws along one axis and to the cleaning head at a second axis. The swivel action in either case can be temporarily disabled by a sliding locking feature.

  • Publication number: 20050048453
Abstract: The present invention pertains to processing system use for instruction and simulated training. Observers evaluate the movements of user controllable images making interactive, personal, idiosyncratic, simulated movements. The invention includes the use of individual hand held devices, personal display appliances, personal computers and other processing systems communicating displays of user controllable images to other processing systems over local area and wide area networks and by means of a variety of interfaces, networks, servers and/or intraprocessing system means. Instruction and simulated training of observers is accomplished through viewing and evaluating user controllable image movements including, without limitation, individual drill, cooperation and opposition.
