Abstract: A system and a method for operating a device. The method comprises generating a correspondence table, a hot spots layout and a visual representation of a scrambled keypad; transmitting the correspondence table, the visual representation of the scrambled keypad; and the hot spots layout. The method further comprises causing to display, by a display controller, the visual representation of the scrambled keypad on a display screen; detecting, by a touch screen controller, a touch event input from a user through a touch screen; generating, by the touch screen controller, a keying event based on the touch event input and the hot spots layout; encrypting the keying event; and transmitting, to a secure element, the encrypted keying event. The method also comprises decrypting the encrypted keying event; and reconstituting a personal identification code (PIC) associated with the user based on the keying event and the correspondence table.

Abstract: The present relates to a method and device for controlling access from the device to a card via a Near Field Communication (NFC) interface of the device. An Access Control List (ACL) is stored at a memory of the device. The ACL comprises application signatures and corresponding card identifiers. A request is received at a processor of the device from a specific application executing on the device. The request is for accessing a particular NFC enabled card via the NFC interface of the device. The request comprises a particular card identifier of the particular card and a specific signature of the specific application. A determination is made by the processor based on the specific signature, the particular card identifier and the ACL. The determination consists in whether the specific application is granted or alternatively denied access to the particular card via the NFC interface.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a method can include establishing a contactless communication channel with a contactless transaction terminal and receiving a command from the contactless transaction terminal. The command can include an identifier of an application. The method can also include selecting, in a table in response to the command, an instance identifier corresponding with an instance of the application from a plurality of instance identifiers corresponding, respectively, with different instances of the application. Each instance identifier can be associated with a state indicator, and the state indicator associated with the selected instance identifier can specify that the corresponding instance of the application is in a selectable state.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a terminal management system for managing a device used as a payment terminal and comprising a secure element. The method comprises generating a profile of the payment terminal on the terminal management system, based on a specific execution environment of the payment terminal. The method also comprises uploading a payment acceptance applet on the secure element of the device. The method further comprises transmitting data of the profile from the terminal management system to the secure element of the device and configuring the uploaded payment acceptance applet on the secure element with the transmitted data. The payment acceptance applet may be selected among a plurality of payment acceptance applets based on the specific execution environment of the payment terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a transaction method between a secure processor and a transaction server, via a non-secure processor or a non-secure link, connected to a routing controller, the method including steps of: the controller transmitting to the secure processor, a command message sent by the non-secure processor or by the non-secure link, the controller receiving a response message sent by the secure processor, and the controller transmitting the response message to the non-secure processor or via the non-secure link, the controller analyzing the content of the response message so as to detect data of a first type therein, and removing detected data of the first type from the response message before transmitting it to the non-secure processor or via the non-secure link.

Abstract: A method for executing a contactless transaction of near field type, including: establishing a near field communication between a near field transaction terminal and a processor, transmitting a command associated with an application identifier of the terminal to the processor. The operating system of the processor searches in a table for an instance identifier corresponding to the application identifier appearing in the command, and associated with a state indicator specifying that an application instance having the instance identifier is in an activable state, and activates the application instance having the instance identifier found in the table, by transmitting the command thereto, the application instance once activated executing a near field transaction with the transaction terminal.
