  • Publication number: 20100282915
Abstract: Device for deploying and retracting appendages of space systems comprising at least one support (2) carrying an appendage (1) to be deployed, which is mobile about a rotation spindle (4), and an actuator furnished with a collar (10) driving the said support in rotation by way of a coupling means (9) characterized in that the said coupling means is able in one direction of rotation to cooperate with at least one support (2.1, 2.2, 2.3) so as to drive the said support in rotation and to not cooperate with the said supports in the opposite direction of rotation.

  • Patent number: 7774935
Abstract: The electrically-conductive element, in particular for a rotary collector, for transferring electrical current between two parts (2, 24) that are movable relative to each other is covered in one or more layers of electrically-insulating enamel (42), with the exception of an electrical continuity zone (43). The layer(s) of enamel (42) is/are removed, e.g. by chemical, thermal, or mechanical attack. The enamel (42) is selected from the group comprising: polyvinyls, polyurethanes, polyesters, polyester imides, polyamide imides, and polyimides. The layers may be the same or different in chemical nature.

  • Patent number: 6161664
Abstract: A fixing arrangement with damping for fixing a device (1) to be protected from vibration, which device includes at least one mounting portion via which the device is fixed to a portion of a support (2) by fastening means (3, 4). The arrangement includes at least two piezoelectric elements (5, 6), each of which has its electrodes electrically shunted by an individual or shared impedance of determined structure. At least one of the elements (5) is used in bending and is interposed between a portion of the support and a mounting portion of the device to be protected. At least one of the elements (6) is used in compression and is interposed between one of the fastening means and either the support portion or the mounting portion.
