  • Publication number: 20200107503
Abstract: A self-sharpening knife used inside an agricultural machine to cut and mix balls of hay or other food destined for animals consumption. The knife comprises a generally triangular steel plate whose base is right or rounded. The base is provided with a series of teeth, each of the teeth includes a pastille made of a material harder than steel and self-sharpening. The pastilles end by a cutting edge having a contour which forms the cutting edge of a tooth. The width of a pastille exceeds that of the steel and ends in a point which becomes round over cuts because of wear. The pastilles wearing out less quickly than steel thus causing that over cuts the width of the pastilles will always exceed the width of the steel. The pastilles cut until all their length and width are worn. The material of the pastille can be carbide or diamond.

  • Patent number: 10232686
Abstract: A sun visor includes a screen slidably mounted over a shaft attachable to a vehicle. A guiding profile is mounted in the screen, and a slider is rotatably mounted over the shaft and housed inside the guiding profile such that the guiding profile can slide longitudinally over the slider to establish a slide on rod function for the sun visor. A detent spring clip is attached to the slider and engages elastically over the shaft of the sun visor such that upon rotation of the screen of the sun visor, it is possible to establish a shading position and an inoperative position for the sun visor. The detent spring clip includes an asymmetrical shape to fit to an asymmetrical core shape of the slider in a single position. The slider includes an asymmetrical external shape to fit to an asymmetrical internal shape of the guiding profile in a single position. The guiding profile includes an asymmetrical external shape to fit to an internal shape of the screen in a single position.

  • Patent number: 7416319
Abstract: The present invention relates to an illumination device for vanity mirrors of motor vehicle sun visors. The illumination device does not use cables as conducting elements nor external mechanical elements such as switches, simplifying the assembly operations. A conducting laminar element performs all of these functions: in addition to being the conducting means it acts as a switch for the device. This device is actuated by a cover that covers the mirror and is operated at the user's will. The device is characterised in that it is only illuminated in one position, in which the cover is not covering the mirror and the visor is in a shading position.

  • Patent number: 4783102
Abstract: The latch comprises a pivotal fork member adapted to receive a keeper (4), an intermediate catch (6) adapted to cooperate with the fork member (1) for maintaining the latter in the latching position, and a main catch (14) cooperative with the catch (6) for maintaining the latter in its position for locking the fork member (1), these elements being biased by return springs. The main catch (14) is provided with an arm (19) which, at the beginning of the latch opening sequence, and if the latch is in a bad state of maintenance, comes to bear against the arm (8) of the intermediate catch (6) and urges the latter to pivot in the direction for releasing the fork member (1). The presence of the arm (19) on the main catch (14) guarantees the opening of the latch without difficulty throughout the life of the vehicle, notwithstanding the hindrance that the progressive disappearance of the lubrication and the accumulation of dust might create in respect of this opening.
