  • Publication number: 20240144552
Abstract: An image reconstruction device, image reconstruction method and image reconstruction system for monitoring a medical or cosmetic skin condition wherein the image reconstruction device includes a camera, a calibration tube, a wireless communication system and a graphical user interface. The calibration tube (allows for the controlled reconstruction of a calibration image) of the surrounding tissue of a region of interest of the skin at a calibration distance. A panoramic image of the region of interest of the skin is registered without the calibration tube at a panoramic distance. A near-distance image of the region of interest is registered at a near distance. Additional information about the region of interest of the skin may be registered through one or more sensors. The calibration image, the panoramic image and the near-distance image are calibrated and superposed to obtain a three-dimensional image useful in the monitoring of a medical or cosmetic skin condition.

  • Publication number: 20240061042
Abstract: A method for a serial protocol-based event trigger includes detecting a condition of a Device Under Test (DUT) with a first text pattern, wherein the condition indicates an enabled function of the DUT. A command is transmitted to the DUT to perform a first action with the enabled function in response to detecting the condition of the DUT. A second text pattern received from the DUT is detected in response to the first action. The second text pattern indicates a successful completion of an event by the enabled function. A second action is performed in response to detecting the second text pattern.

  • Publication number: 20230109870
Abstract: An aspect of the invention provides a method for analysing the Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) gene in a sample containing genetic material of a subject, wherein the method detects the presence or absence of at least exons 7, 43, 44, 45, 46, 49, 50, 51, 52 and 54 of the DMD gene in the genetic material of the subject, wherein the detection of the presence or absence of the exons comprises multiplex polymerase-based nucleic acid amplification. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for analysing the DMD gene in a sample containing genetic material of a subject, wherein the method detects the presence or absence of at least exons 7, 43, 44, 45, 46, 49, 50, 51, 52 and 54 of the DMD gene in the genetic material of the subject, and wherein the sample is blood. Additional aspects of the invention provide tools applicable in the disclosed methods, such as primers, primer pairs, primer pair sets, oligonucleotide probes and probe sets, as well as compositions and kits containing the same.

  • Publication number: 20230044432
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for detecting an integration pattern of a virus in a host genome. In particular, a method is provided encompassing selective cleavage of circularized DNA fragments carrying viral DNA with an RNA-guided endonuclease and at least one guide RNA or at least one pool of guide RNAs, followed by inverse PCR, in particular inverse long-range PCR, and sequencing. The invention further relates to kits for performing the method and application of the method.

  • Patent number: 9733696
Abstract: An optimal idle state of a processor is selected using dynamically derived parameters. For example, the idle state is selected from a group of possible idle power states. A current detector is arranged to perform power measurements of the processor and to report a total power consumption of the processor for each time value of a range of discrete values for each possible idle power state. A calibration unit is arranged to communicate with the current detector and the processor, and to automatically activate a calibration sequence that is used to produce data from which idle power state is optimal for the processor for an estimated idle period.
