    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed which separates particles with different dielectric properties. The apparatus restricts the flow of some particles (27) through a three dimensional array of conductive layers (21) (22) while allowing other particles (25) to flow through. The separation process is controlled by electrical signal generators (23) that are connected to the conductive layers.
