  • Publication number: 20150217869
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to removable storage for hydrogen networks on-board an aircraft, aerospace vehicles, or other passenger transport vehicles. They are particularly related to such vehicles that use a hydrogen network in order to support a fuel cell system, more scecifically it discloses an interchangeable hydrogen storage mounted in a trolley or in a cradle for a plane for onboard applications.

  • Patent number: 8857431
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a breathing mask for aircraft crewmember. The breathing mask includes an on-demand regulator with an inlet connected to a source of breathing gas and an outlet to exhaust the breathing gas. The outlet has an aperture controlled by a movable valve having an open position when the crewmember breathes out and a closed position when the crewmember breathes in. The breathing mask also has a latch member operable by a crewmember to latch the valve in the open position, the latch member including an unlocking member to release the valve when the cabin pressure is below a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20110000490
Abstract: A device for delivering a breathing gas to an on-demand breathing mask (23) comprises—an Onboard Oxygen Generator (1) comprising an oxygen-rich gas outlet end; —compressor means (7) comprising inlet means (6) and outlet means (12), said inlet means being connected to oxygen-rich gas outlet end of said Onboard Oxygen Generator (1) for receiving said gas, said compressor means being operable to increase the pressure of said gas for delivery from said outlet means to the on-demand breathing mask. The device further comprises a connecting means (17) to connect said compressor outlet means (12) to said compressor inlet means (6) so that oxygen-rich gas in excess at the outlet means is redirected to the inlet means.
