  • Publication number: 20240086802
Abstract: Examples described herein include methods, techniques, and systems for determining the CapEx and the non-CapEx associated with an asset. The asset can be a tangible asset or an intangible asset. To calculate the CapEx of an intangible asset, such as a software product, the methods, techniques, and systems determine the resource investment to build, develop, improve, and/or extend the useful life of the intangible asset. To do so, the methods, techniques, and systems utilize data related to a plurality of professionals associated with the intangible asset. The data related to the plurality of professionals help determine one or more effort levels to build, develop, improve, and/or extend the useful life of the intangible asset. The effort levels, on the other hand, help determine the CapEx of the intangible asset.
