Publication number: 20100263808Abstract: A wall opening covering is disclosed. The covering includes a take up member attached to a support assembly. The take up member is rotatable in a first direction and a second direction and the support assembly is configured and arranged to fasten to a wall opening. A lifting member is retained by the take up member. A front panel is suspended in the wall opening and connected to the lifting member. The front panel is movable between a first position and a second position whereby rotation of the take up member in the first direction gathers the lifting member thereby drawing the front panel to the first position and rotation of the take up member in the second direction releases the lifting member thereby drawing the front panel to the second position. The wall opening covering may further include a transmission assembly driving the take up member.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2010Publication date: October 21, 2010Applicant: KENNEY MANUFACTURING CO.Inventors: Michael Hanley, Leo E.
