  • Patent number: 8733073
Abstract: A system for cutting, windrowing, and baling material in a single pass. The system has a tractor, a windrower for windrowing material, a baler for baling material that passes through the windrower, a conveying assembly attached to an outlet opening of the windrower, and a connecting assembly for connecting the tractor, the windrower, and the baler. The conveying assembly moves material from the outlet opening of the windrower toward an inlet of the baler.

  • Patent number: 7150419
Abstract: The sprayer trailer has a trailer frame with a font end and a rear end. A pair of wheels are connected to the trailer frame. A hitch assembly includes a rear mast with a lower end connected to the trailer frame and a front mast with a front mast top end connected to a rear mast top end. A vertical guide assembly is mounted on the hitch assembly. A hitch connector assembly portion is mounted on a front mast lower end. A vertical guide assembly is mounted on the hitch assembly. A boom support frame is slidable on the vertical guide assembly. A sprayer boom center section is supported by the boom support frame. Nozzles on the boom center section move vertically between a lowered position below the rear mast and a raised position above the rear mast lower end.

  • Patent number: 7073816
Abstract: An adjustable width trailer including a center frame with a center deck, and attached tongue and an attached guide beam that is transverse to the direction of forward movement. Left and right wheel support assemblies are slidably mounted on the guide beam. Left and right tire and wheel assemblies are attached to the wheel support assemblies by suspension assemblies. A left wing frame and a right wing frame, with wing decks are pivotally attached to the center frame, when the wheel support assemblies are in inboard positions, the wing frames are folded. When the wheel support assemblies are slid on the guide beam to outboard positions, the left and right wheels are outboard from the sides of the center frame and the left and right wing frames sit on the adjacent wheel support assemblies and are held in horizontal positions.

  • Patent number: 6314666
Abstract: The material moving blade has a moldboard assembly with a lower moldboard portion and an upper moldboard portion. A hinge connects the upper moldboard portion to the lower moldboard portion for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis. An upper cutting bar with an upper bar working edge is clamped to a top edge of the upper moldboard portion. A lower cutting bar with a lower bar working edge is clamped to a bottom edge of the lower moldboard portion. An actuator pivots the upper moldboard portion about the horizontal axis in one direction to a position in which the upper cutting bar is above the lower moldboard portion and in another direction to a position in which the upper bar working edge is below the lower bar working edge and the upper moldboard material contact surface faces rearward.

  • Patent number: 5529128
Abstract: The row crop cultivator includes a cultivation unit (10) with a unit frame (12) attached to a tool bar (21) by parallel links (28 and 34). The unit frame (12) is supported by a pair of gauge wheels (14 and 16). A disk coulter (18) is mounted on the unit frame (12) with its forward edge positioned between the gauge wheels (14 and 16). A middleworker (20) is supported by the unit frame (20) directly behind the disk coulter (18). The gauge wheels (14 and 16) are mounted on an axle assembly (90) that includes gauge wheel arms (92 and 94) and a force equalizing link (98). The force equalizing link (98) equalizes the force exerted on the two gauge wheels (14 and 16) by the unit frame (12). An adjustment rod (106) adjusts the position of the force equalizing link. A coulter adjustment rod (54 ) with a lost motion connection adjusts the maximum depth of the disk coulter.

  • Patent number: 5333559
Abstract: A row crop cultivator is provided with a seed dispensing manifold attached to and spanning the lay shares forming a part of its middleworker assembly. The seed distribution manifold is designed to randomly distribute seeds fed into it from a towed planter assembly that includes a seed hopper, metering means for feeding out seeds from the hopper in accordance with the ground speed of the apparatus and a blower for forcing the seeds through suitable tubes to the seed distribution manifold.

  • Patent number: 4834189
Abstract: An improved row crop cultivator for use in minimum tillage applications is described. A plurality of ganged cultivating units are mounted on a tool bar adapted to be towed behind a tractor vehicle. Each cultivating unit comprises a frame which is supported on a pair of spaced-apart gauge wheels. Also mounted on the frame for rotation within the gap between the gauge wheels is a disk-shaped coulter blade which is configured to cut through crop residue and weed debris as the material being cut is held against the ground surface by the gauge wheels. This arrangement tends to prevent improper cutting known as "hair-pinning". Trailing directly behind the coulter blade is a middleworker comprising a narrow width shank depending from the frame and having a weld point on its lower leading edge and wing-like share blades flaring rearwardly and outwardly at a predetermined angle from the lower end of the shank.

  • Patent number: 4693331
Abstract: An elongated boom is pivotally mounted to the forward portion of a tractor and includes a pair of drive/steering wheels mounted to the forward end portion thereof. An electrically actuated, hydraulic control system provides for direction control and rotation of the drive/steering wheels as well as for pivoting displacement of the boom. The drive/steering wheels are mounted to the boom by means of a front axle bolster and pivot assembly, the mounting point of which to the boom may be fixed as desired to permit the effective length of the boom to be varied. Also mounted to a forward portion of the boom by means of the front axle bolster and pivot assembly is a three-point hitch with tilting mast to which a toolbar having a plurality of row units mounted thereto is attached. A hydraulic top link cylinder coupled between the front axle bolster and pivot assembly and the three point hitch allows the toolbar to be rotated about its longitudinal axis and thus affords on-the-go row unit depth control.
