  • Patent number: 11922186
Abstract: One example method includes receiving, at a client device, an input to present data corresponding to an application. In response to the input, a first user interface for the application is displayed using a web browser on the client device. A streaming data service corresponding to data to be displayed is identified, the streaming data service hosted by a server. A first web worker thread corresponding to the web browser is used to subscribe to the streaming data service. New data corresponding to the streaming data service is obtained using the first web worker thread from the server, and provided to a second web worker thread corresponding to the web browser. The second web worker thread is used to process the new data and prepare for presentation on the first user interface.

  • Publication number: 20030089006
Abstract: A liquid-containing ornament includes a container containing one single type of liquid or two types of mutually indissoluble liquids having different densities and colors. The liquid flows down from the container into a chamber below the container via a low liquid outlet. A set of rotating blades having magnets attached on one side of the blades is mounted in the chamber, and a rotary disc driven to rotate by a motor and having magnets attached thereto is located outside the chamber corresponding to the set of rotating blades. When the rotary disc is rotated, it magnetically rotates the set of rotating blades to drive the liquid in the chamber into the container via a high liquid inlet, so that the liquid circulates in the container. Different decorations are provided in the container along a path of the circulating liquid flow to create changeful and dynamic scenes.

  • Patent number: 6253945
Abstract: A container including independent main container unit and liquid-ornament unit that are separably connected to each other. The main container unit is formed by blow molding and can therefore have diversified configurations. Retaining means, such as collar and protruded key, and an open space may be formed outside the main container unit at the time the latter is formed. The liquid-ornament container has a configuration corresponding to the open space and can therefore be easily assembled to the main container unit by fitting it into the open space and holding it in place with the collar and key.

  • Patent number: 6203394
Abstract: An ornamental liquid color box includes stationary clear containers fixedly mounted on a cover of a seat. Propellers are provided on the seat to propel liquid colors flowing into the seat to liquid passages that are led to upper storing zones of the containers. Liquid colors sent to the upper storing zones then moves into narrowed middle display zones to form flattened and irregular drips before reaching lower storing zones of the containers and entering the seat again to complete a cycle of movement of the liquid colors in the liquid color box. The whole liquid color box need not be manually or mechanically turned to maintain continuous circulation of the liquid colors in the liquid color box. The propellers are driven to rotate by driving means that may be coil windings or a combination of a motor and magnet-loaded driving and driven gear wheels. No leakproof means, such as shaft seals, are required for the liquid color box.

  • Patent number: 6003392
Abstract: A driving mechanism of a wave-producing ornament is mounted in a base of the ornament and includes a motor which rotates a disc. A connecting link is pivotally connected at a first end to an outer periphery of the disc and at a second end to a lower end of a push bar. The push bar is located in a channel integrally formed on the base of the ornament and has a round head projects from a top opening of the channel to contact with an end of a liquid container of the ornament above the base. When the disc rotates, it brings the connecting link to move in a circular motion and pull and push the push bar to descend and ascend along the channel reciprocatingly. Whereby, the liquid container is periodically lifted and lowered at one end by the round head of the push bar to produce waves in the container.

  • Patent number: 5946968
Abstract: A swing mechanism for wave-producing ornament. The ornament includes a base and a liquid container and the swing mechanism is mounted inside the base with a top container holder projecting from the base to fixedly connect the liquid container thereto. The swing mechanism includes a round disc which is rotated by a motor in the base of the ornament, a connecting rod pivotally connected to the round disc near an outer periphery thereof, and a sleeve defining a downward open cylindrical inner space with a narrowed lower end for an upper half part of the connecting rod to extend into. The upper half part of the connecting rod are two upward extended arms which slide up and down in the cylindrical inner space like a piston. When the round disc is rotated, the connecting rod moves in circumferential movement, bringing the sleeve and accordingly the liquid container fixedly connected to a top of the sleeve to swing relative to the base of the ornament.

  • Patent number: 5923623
Abstract: An arrangement for detachably attaching an ornamental container to a wrist watch includes a supporting frame for the ornamental container to detachably connect thereto, and two thin and soft strips with transversely spaced teeth provided on an inner surface thereof. The strips are threaded through slots formed on corner lugs of the supporting frame in predetermined steps, so that the strips extend across below the wrist watch to easily but firmly and detachably tie the supporting frame to a top of the wrist watch.

  • Patent number: 5850373
Abstract: A transmission mechanism for a magnet-bearing ornament, in which a clock main spring barrel serves to provide power required by the ornament to show a dynamic scene. The clock main spring barrel has a second wheel to replace a conventional second hand. The second wheel has a large number of teeth provided along its circumferential surface and meshes with a small driven gear to cause the latter to rotate at a high speed. The small driven gear may then cause a magnet-bearing member to coaxially rotate with it via a rotating shaft of the gear connected to the magnet-bearing member. Alternatively, the small driven gear is provided with a major rotational disc having magnets attached thereto. When the small driven gear rotates, the major rotational disc rotates synchronously to magnetically rotate the magnet-bearing member behind a background board of the ornament disposed between the clock main spring barrel and a front showing space.
