  • Publication number: 20190154198
Abstract: A hose lubricating assembly includes a handle that has an interior space therein. A reservoir is positioned in the interior space and the reservoir contains a fluid lubricant. A tube is coupled to the handle such that the tube is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the tube receives the fluid lubricant. The tube is selectively inserted between a hose and a stem that the hose is coupled to. Thus, the fluid lubricant is released between the hose and the stem for removing the hose from the stem. A plunger unit is movably coupled to the handle and the plunger unit selectively urges the fluid lubricant outwardly through the tube. A valve is movably positioned within the handle and the valve is in fluid communication with the reservoir. The valve is selectively opened and closed for inhibiting and facilitating the fluid lubricant to be released from the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 6227266
Abstract: A collapsible gas lever lock that is inserted between the gas lever and the bottom of the gas pump handle to maintain the gas lever in the fueling position eliminating the need apply a constant squeezing force to the gas lever during the entire fueling operation. The compressible gas lever lock includes a support assembly and a securing strap assembly. The support assembly includes top and bottom support plates connected together by a spring and a fabric outer cover. The securing strap assemblies holds the top and bottom support plates in the compressed configuration between uses for carrying in a purse or pocket.

  • Patent number: 4469335
Abstract: Sealing apparatus seals the opening of a chamber by seating a double lip seal--or a functionally equivalent seal--between the chamber and the door of the chamber when there is an insufficient pressure differential across the seal to seat it properly. The apparatus includes a vacuum pump which evacuates air from the enclosed space defined by the chamber, the chamber door, and the two flexible members of the sealing device to force the sealing device against the chamber and the chamber door. A storage tank can be provided which can be evacuated of fluid to reduce the capacity of the vacuum pump, or to eliminate it altogether when the sealing apparatus is used with a chamber equipped with a vacuum pump.

  • Patent number: 4094019
Abstract: An assembly havng a retractable toilet bowl incorporates conduit means in the bowl trunnion for delivering water to the toilet bowl via pipes on its underside. The trunnion conduit means incorporates a Sloan valve of standard commerical type to provide advantageous wetting and flushing flow control while providing safeguards against flooding and inadequate sewer gas trap level. The wetting control extends the range of wetness and facilitates cleaning operations. Right and left hand installations, using the same parts, are enabled. Other features as in models currently marketed remain readily incorporatable.
