  • Publication number: 20230063052
Abstract: A conversation augmentation system can automatically augment a conversation with content items based on natural language from the conversation. The conversation augmentation system can select content items to add to the conversation based on determined user “intents” generated using machine learning models. The conversation augmentation system can generate intents for natural language from various sources, such as video chats, audio conversations, textual conversations, virtual reality environments, etc. The conversation augmentation system can identify constraints for mapping the intents to content items or context signals for selecting appropriate content items. In various implementations, the conversation augmentation system can add selected content items to a storyline the conversation describes or can augment a platform in which an unstructured conversation is occurring.

  • Publication number: 20220414974
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein relate to reconstructing a scene in three dimensions from a two-dimensional image. One embodiment processes an image using a detection transformer to detect an object in the scene and to generate a NOCS map of the object and a background depth map; uses MLPs to relate the object to a differentiable database of object priors (PriorDB); recovers, from the NOCS map, a partial 3D object shape; estimates an initial object pose; fits a PriorDB object prior to align in geometry and appearance with the partial 3D shape to produce a complete shape and refines the initial pose estimate; generates an editable and re-renderable 3D scene reconstruction based, at least in part, on the complete shape, the refined pose estimate, and the depth map; and controls the operation of a robot based, at least in part, on the editable and re-renderable 3D scene reconstruction.

  • Publication number: 20220387003
Abstract: A mechanism for estimating windows for menstrual cycles and fertility. The mechanism tracks menstrual cycles based on accuracy of predictions as compared to user input logging the start and stop of a cycle; this user input and the accuracy of prior cycle predictions is used to improve and update future predictions. Thus, as the mechanism receives additional data, it refines its predicted fertility window and period. A user's heart rate may be used to estimate fertility windows, periods, and other portions of a menstrual cycle.

  • Publication number: 20220335026
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to automated memory creation and retrieval from moment content items. In some implementations, the automated memory creation and retrieval system can obtain moment content items from user-designated sources with a single user perspective or multiple user perspectives. The moment content items can be assigned tags and arranged in chronological order. The arranged moment content items can be clustered into memory content items based on clustering conditions. Once memory content items are created, they can be arranged into a memory hierarchy made up of connected nodes. In some implementations, the memory content items are also linked together based on similarity in various dimensions in a memory graph. The automated memory creation and retrieval system can receive search criteria for memories from a user interface and provide the user with memories from matched nodes in the memory hierarchy or linked memories in the memory graph.

  • Patent number: 10136359
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to network management and routing protocols in communication networks, including but not limited to wireless communication networks including Integrated-Access-Backhaul (IAB) nodes within an IAB network. In some examples, one or more traffic flows between an IAB node and a remote network may be migrated from a first tunnel associated with a first network routing domain to a second tunnel associated with a second routing domain in accordance with route information pertaining to each of the network routing domains. In various examples, the migration may be performed in response to a failure of a wireless link in the IAB network, while in other examples, the migration may be performed in response to congestion or overloading of an IAB node.

  • Patent number: 10075182
Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to message compression/decompression are described. A compressed message is generated by indicating what changes are to be made to a previous message to produce the message sought to be transmitted. The required change, in the form of at least one command and corresponding parameter, is transmitted as a compressed version of the message being communicated. This approach takes advantage of the fact that messages sent over time often include much of the same message content and only one or a few fields may have changed. The techniques are general and involve including a command in the compressed message along with at least one parameter. The command indicates processing to be performed on a previous message to generate the uncompressed message. The parameter may be, e.g., data to be inserted into the previous message or specify a location in the previous message where the change is to be made.

  • Patent number: 10009260
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to network management in communication networks, including but not limited to wireless communication networks including integrated access and backhaul (IAB) nodes within an IAB backhaul network. For example, a network node may determine to integrate a peer node, to which the network node has physical connectivity, into a network routing domain of which the routing node is a member. In another example, a network node may determine to truncate a peer node from a network routing domain. In various examples, the decisions to propagate or truncate the network routing domain may be made based on routing messages within a network routing domain, or in a plurality of overlapping network routing domains. In further examples, the decisions may be based on information about physical links between respective nodes.

  • Patent number: 9578654
Abstract: Methods and apparatus related to wireless terminal reporting alternative selection for a fixed bit size control information request report, e.g., a 4 bit uplink traffic channel request report, are described. A wireless terminal maintains a plurality of different request groups corresponding to uplink traffic to be transmitted. The same request report format includes a plurality of reporting alternatives, different reporting alternatives corresponding to different request groups. Backlog can and sometimes does exist simultaneously corresponding to request groups corresponding to different reporting alternatives. The wireless terminal uses priority information associated with the request groups having non-zero backlog to select a reporting alternative. In some embodiments, at least some of the request groups have priorities which are calculated by the wireless terminal and change as a function of determined transmission deadline information.
