  • Publication number: 20190339535
Abstract: The aspects disclosed herein are related to systems, methods, and devices to perform automatic eye box adjustments (for example, those that are implemented in a heads-up display context) for a vehicle-based implementation. The aspects disclosed herein employ either detection of a viewer's eye location, height, position, or a combination thereof to perform said eye box adjustment. Various aspects disclosed herein may also be directed to also adjusting graphical assets (for example, augmented reality content) used in the context of said HUD implementation.

  • Publication number: 20140327517
Abstract: A remote control system and method are disclosed for automatically locking and/or unlocking at least one movable panel of a motor vehicle and/or for starting a motor vehicle engine. The remote control system includes a vehicle module to be installed inside the vehicle and a portable module to be carried by a user. The remote control system is capable of determining the distance between the vehicle module and the portable module via a first radiofrequency signal emitted by an antenna combined with the vehicle module, and a second radiofrequency signal emitted by an antenna combined with the portable module, the first radiofrequency signal being a signal obtained by phase or frequency modulation. The second radiofrequency signal is obtained by a phase-locked loop in the portable module that uses the first radiofrequency signal as a reference for generating the second radiofrequency signal.

  • Patent number: 7021132
Abstract: Measuring system for measuring at least one parameter indicative of the state of the tires of a vehicle, which comprises on each wheel a detector (12) having a parameter sensor (13) and an antenna (15) tuned to a defined frequency, and which comprises a central data processing unit (24) coupled by individual wire links (22) to fixed antennas that are installed near the wheels equipped with sensors. Each parameter sensor comprises a transponder associated with a capacitor to store the power from the associated fixed antenna. At least one of the fixed and mobile antennas is configured in such a way that the link with the other antenna corresponding to the same wheel is substantially independent of the angular position of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 6081185
Abstract: Motor vehicle equipped with a system for detecting the approach of a user, comprising a metallic surface (15) which is isolated from the chassis of the vehicle (V) and is connected to a high-frequency wave generator (16), so that the pair formed by the chassis of the vehicle and the said surface defines a radiating dipole, and a capacitance-variation detector (2) which is connected to the said surface and is intended to detect the variation in capacitance of a capacitor (C) formed by the (surface (15)/user's hand) pair.
