The processor may determine that a high brightness condition is present in the region of interest. The processor may generate a filter for the frame based on the brightness characterization and the one or more additional brightness characterizations. The processor may apply the filter to the region of interest of the frame to generate a filtered frame. The high brightness condition is not present in the region of interest of the filtered frame. The processor may output the filtered frame for display at the display.

The apparatus can be installed on an existing machine without changing the molding machine. Rings may be sprayed while in motion during normal machine operation. A nozzle is provided along with check valves to produce a tight conical spray pattern.

    Abstract: A spray nozzle assembly includes a nozzle tip and a nozzle tip holder. The holder can be rotationally adjusted so as to change the spray pattern orientation for a nozzle tip that produces an asymmetrical spray pattern. The nozzle holder includes a keyway feature such as different sized holes that provide an indication to the operator of the nozzle pattern orientation. The holes may also be used in combination with a tool or key that allows the nozzle holder to be adjusted for a particular spray pattern orientation. The tool may optionally include a feature that indicates to an operator the spray pattern orientation. The nozzle holder may also include a recess for retaining the nozzle tip at an angle relative to an axis of the holder.
