  • Publication number: 20260164441
Abstract: A method, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), and a base station are disclosed. The WTRU comprises a receiver, a transmitter, and a processor. The WTRU receives at least one radio resource control (RRC) message indicating an uplink resource for the WTRU and receives grants over first channels associated with the indicated uplink resource. The WTRU transmits uplink data using the indicated uplink resource based on the received grants, and, based on a trigger, deactivates the indicated uplink resource and to stop the reception of grants over the first channels associated with the indicated uplink resource and flush hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffers associated with the indicated uplink resource. The base station is configured to communicate with the WTRU.

  • Patent number: 12519279
Abstract: An active LMA optical fiber for mitigating Transverse Mode Instability effects is provided. The core of the fiber includes a center core region having one or more rare-earth center dopants and one or more center co-dopants, and a peripheral core region free of rare-earth dopants and having one or more peripheral dopants. The radial refractive-index profile of the core is generally continuous across a boundary between the center core region and the peripheral core region. The selection and the concentrations and distributions of the rare-earth center dopants, the center co-dopants and the peripheral dopants are such that the temperature coefficient is lower in the peripheral core region than in the center core region.

  • Publication number: 20250312572
Abstract: An assembly includes a catheter surrounded by sheath for delivering a medical device into a cardiovascular system of a patient and a catheter fixation device at least partially deployable from the sheath and transitionable between a radially collapsed state and a radially expanded state. When the catheter fixation device is in the radially collapsed state, the catheter is movable through a conduit of a vessel, and when the catheter fixation device is deployed from the sheath and expanded to the radially expanded to be in contact with an inner wall of the vessel, the catheter is fixed relative to the conduit and relative to the cardiovascular system of the patient. A method of delivering and stabilizing a medical device within a cardiovascular system of a patient is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20250097948
Abstract: Methods and systems for transmitting uplink control information in an LTE Advanced system are disclosed. A user device may determine whether uplink control information and/or available channels meet certain criteria and determine whether the uplink control information should be transmitted on a physical uplink control channel, a physical uplink shared channel, or both, based on the criteria. Criteria may include the size of the uplink control information (absolute size or relative to space available on a channel or a threshold value), the type of control information bits, the number of available (i.e., active or configured) component carriers, and the amount of power that may be required to transmit the uplink control information on more than one channel.

  • Publication number: 20250090826
Abstract: A graft system may be provided. The graft system may include a graft, a hemostasis valve operably coupled to a proximal end of the graft, and a clamp disposed around the proximal end of the graft and configured to hold the hemostasis valve in place relative to the graft. The graft may include a woven or knitted fabric. The clamp may be removably, or permanently, attached to the graft. The hemostasis valve may include a slit membrane disposed within a housing. The hemostasis valve may include an introducer sheath coupled to the housing. The housing may include two portions coupled together along two axial seams, each axial seam extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the hemostasis valve. A grommet may be coupled to an end of the graft.

  • Publication number: 20240416108
Abstract: Various devices, systems, and methods are disclosed. The method may include determining a body surface area of a patient (who may have a body surface area of about 0.6 m2 to about 1.3 m2), selecting a blood pump from a plurality of differently sized blood pumps based on the body surface area of the patient, implanting the blood pump, and activating the blood pump to provide support to the patient. The selected blood pump may have a cannula connecting an inlet and an outlet. The cannula may have a bend and a cannula length measuring an axial length between the inlet and the outlet. The cannula length may be between about 30 mm to about 46 mm if the body surface area is less than 0.9 m2.

  • Patent number: 12120657
Abstract: A method and apparatus for controlling transmit power in a wireless local area network (WLAN). For example, a station may receive, from an access point (AP), a beacon frame that includes a field indicating a maximum transmission power for at least one of a plurality of operational bandwidth that the AP supports. The station may determine a transmission power for a signal to be transmitted to the AP based on the at least one of the plurality of operational bandwidths indicated in the received beacon. The station may then transmit the signal at the determined transmission power.
