Abstract: A method of grouping together pieces of equipment that are capable of emitting sound signals, the method comprising the steps of: causing each piece of equipment to emit a test sound signal; causing the test sound signal to be received by each piece of equipment that is capable of receiving sound signals, and causing each of these pieces of equipment to evaluate a recognition level for said test sound signal; or each pair of pieces of equipment Ei and Ej, evaluating a mutual recognition level representative both of a recognition level N(i, j) for the piece of equipment Ei receiving a test sound signal emitted by the piece of equipment Ej, and also of a recognition level N(j, i); on the basis of the mutual recognition level, determining whether or not the pieces of equipment Ei and Ej belong to a common sound space.

Abstract: Audio playback equipment includes a loudspeaker, a photosensitive sensor and a processing unit arranged to: acquire or estimate, by using at least one measurement produced by the photosensitive sensor, at least one light parameter representative of a light illuminating an environment of the audio playback equipment; select, according to the light parameter, current values of audio parameters; apply the current values of audio parameters on a primary audio signal (Sap) to produce a secondary audio signal (Sas); playback the secondary audio signal via the internal loudspeaker.

Abstract: A method of playing back audio/video signals by means of an audio/video system includes a decoder appliance connected to a display screen and to a wireless speaker including a buffer storing audio frames so as to allow latency between receiving encoded audio frames and supplying decoded audio frames. The method comprises the steps of: determining a filling level of the buffer; comparing the filling level of the buffer with a filling target for the buffer and deducing a filling difference therefrom; and increasing or decreasing the number of audio frames that are stored as a function of the filling difference so as to adjust latency.
