  • Publication number: 20240095261
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for accessing information associated with an organization hierarchy. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method includes transmitting, from a device to a server in which multiple group models are stored, an access request to access a first group model of the multiple group models. Each group model of the multiple group models is associated with a different organization and includes multiple group data structures, multiple group type data structures, and multiple group member data structures. Each group model is associated with group hierarchy information that indicates a hierarchy associated with the multiple group data structures associated with the group model. The method further includes receiving, at the device and based on the access request, first hierarchy information associated with a first group model. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 9451898
Abstract: This invention discloses a system and a method for extracting VF signal in ECG recorded during uninterrupted CPR. The present invention provides a method for extracting a Ventricular fibrillation (VF) signal in Electrocardiography (ECG), comprising: receiving an ECG signal; adding a plurality of shadowing functions to the ECG signal, to obtain a plurality of modification signals; decomposing the plurality of modification signals by using an Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) method, to generate a plurality of Intrinsic Mode Functions (IMFs); calculating the sum of IMFs in different frequency regions based on time sequence, dividing by a number of the shadowing signal, to obtain a plurality of modification intrinsic mode functions; combining the plurality of modification IMFs with the same property, to obtain a shape function; modeling the shape functions to obtain a compression signal; and subtracting the compression signal from the ECG signal based on time sequence, to obtain the VF signal.

  • Publication number: 20150197808
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a certain subset of cytokine markers as prognostic variables of infection status in an individual, and especially as prognostic markers of a patients developing severe infection such as pneumonia, and respiratory tract infection following surgery. The subset of cytokine markers consists of the interleukin cytokines IL-2, IL-7, IL-23, IL-27, and IL-10, and Interferon-? (INF?) and Tissue Necrosis Factor-? (TNF?). The markers may be employed as individual prognostic variables of infection status, or they may be used in pairs or other combinations. Generally, the abundance of the markers is correlated with infection status by means of an absolute pre-operative value of biomarker abundance, ratio's of pre-operative to post-operative biomarker abundance, or ratio values for pairs of certain biomarkers within the subset.

  • Patent number: 4821798
Abstract: An electrical heating system for an oil well of the kind comprising a well bore extending through and below an oil producing formation to afford a rathole of substantial depth, the well including an electrically conductive first casing section from the earth surface down through the overburden, an electrically conductive second casing section continuing down through the oil producing formation, and a third casing section in the rathole. The first and second casing sections are usually steel pipe. An electrical power supply is connected to primary and secondary electrodes for conductive heating of a portion of the oil producing formation; the primary electrode is an uninsulated portion of the second casing section. The third casing section constitutes an insulator for electrical isolation of the rathole.
