  • Patent number: 12166443
Abstract: A switching device for switching an electric motor includes a control unit configured to provide a first switching signal for the electric motor, a memory configured to store at least one end position, and a position sensor configured to provide the control unit with an electrical position signal which indicates a measured position. The control unit is connected communicatively to wireless communication means and is configured to store the measured position in the memory as said at least one end position on the basis of the position signal in response to a received first instruction. The control unit is configured to provide the first switching signal by comparing the stored end position and a position signal measured by the position sensor. A drive with such a switching device and a method for setting up such a switching device.

  • Publication number: 20230055074
Abstract: A multi-turn limiting device for limiting movement of an element driven by a motor includes a sensor configured to provide a sensor signal corresponding to a position of the element, a movable member mechanically couplable to the element via a transmission having a non-unitary first transmission ratio and a further sensor configured to provide a further sensor signal corresponding to the position of the movable member. A controller switches the motor via a switching signal determined on the basis of the two sensors. A method of limiting movement of an element driven by a motor includes sensing the position of the element using two sensors and a movable member which is coupled to the element via a non-unitary transmission ratio.

  • Publication number: 20230051606
Abstract: The invention relates to a switching device for switching an electric motor, comprising a control unit which is configured to provide a first switching signal for the electric motor, a memory which is configured to store at least one end position, and a position sensor which is configured to provide the control unit with an electrical position signal which indicates a measured position, wherein the control unit is connected communicatively to wireless communication means and is configured to store the measured position in the memory as said at least one end position on the basis of the position signal in response to a received first instruction, and wherein the control unit is configured to provide the first switching signal by comparing the stored end position and a position signal measured by the position sensor. The invention also relates to a drive with such a switching device and a method for setting up such a switching device.
