  • Publication number: 20140358152
Abstract: A drilling mask for implanting a transpedicular screw on a spine section includes a guide body with a distal surface and a proximal surface, opposite to the distal surface and facing towards the spine section. The guide body includes a reference element obtained on the proximal surface and arranged to contact the spinous process, a guide channel that extends starting from the distal surface, which is arranged to work as drilling guide for drilling the pedicle and implanting the transpedicular screw, and a plurality of support elements made on the proximal surface, associated with the reference element, arranged to contact side parts of the spine section. The guide body also includes at least one reference portion.

  • Publication number: 20040031696
Abstract: Continuous electrolytic pickling method for steels, Nickel, superalloys, Titanium and alloys thereof, characterised in that the material to be treated , for a time comprised between 3 sec and 60 sec, is immersed into or passes through at least one electrolytic cell with an electrolytic solution consisting of a neutral or acid aqueous solution, at a temperature comprised between 20 DEG C. and 95 DEG C., with at least one pair of electrodes connected to an alternate current power supply having a frequency ranging from 1 Hz to 1000 Hz, the electrolysis being carried out at a current density having an effective amplitude ranging from 10 A/dm2 to 250 A/dm2. The Figure depicts the progress of the weight loss of an AISI 409 (X6CrTil2) steel as a function of the application time of an embodiment of the pickling method according to the present invention.

  • Patent number: 4875983
Abstract: In the continuous electrodeposition of chromium metal and chromium oxide on metal surfaces the codeposition of chromium and its oxide, inert and insoluble, is obtained from the same bath and at high current density, by using a number of cycles of impressed cathodic current and defined ranges of electrolyte velocities in the deposition cell. In this manner a product is obtained wherein a specific quantitative relationship between chromium metal and chromium oxide ensures corrosion resistance superior to that obtainable in known products.
