Publication number: 20250259308Abstract: This disclosure describes one or more implementations of systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods that utilizes a segmentation approach that distinguishes between smooth-shaded regions from high-frequency regions in an image within a vectorization pipeline to generate a vector image. For instance, the disclosed systems utilize a smoothing function to identify non-overlapping sets of pixels that include locally smooth pixels and pixels with high frequency details for an image. Furthermore, in some instances, the disclosed systems generate separate sets of fill functions (representing color-based regions) using color-based pixel clustering for the non-overlapping sets of pixels. Moreover, in one or more instances, the disclosed systems merge neighboring color-based regions in the sets of fill functions (using color similarity) to generate a set of segmented regions for an image.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2024Publication date: August 14, 2025Inventors: Souymodip Chakraborty, Ankit Phogat, Vishwas Jain, Jaswant Singh Ranawat, Vineet Batra, Michal Lukac, Matthew Fisher

Publication number: 20250258089Abstract: An apparatus and method of determining the concentration of first and second substances within a sample by exposing the sample to radiation and filtering the radiation transmitted from the sample using a first filter having a number of pass bands at wavelengths corresponding to absorption peaks in a desired quasi-periodic absorption spectrum of the first substance to be detected, and modulating the wavelengths of the pass bands of the first filter. Additionally, filtering the radiation transmitted from the sample using a second filter having a number of pass bands at wavelengths corresponding to absorption peaks in a desired quasi-periodic absorption spectrum of the second substance to be detected, and modulating the wavelengths of the pass bands of the second filter. The concentration of the first and second substances is determined by determining the difference in the maximum and the minimum intensities of the radiation transmitted by the sample.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2025Publication date: August 14, 2025Applicant: Heath Consultants IncorporatedInventors: Euan Smith, Vineet Aggarwal

Publication number: 20250258092Abstract: A non-dispersive near infrared light is used for detecting analyte gases in a testing zone. A sample obtained from the testing zone is irradiated with a reference light and with test lights. The test lights are emitted in sequence and modulated to be out of phase with the reference light. Frequencies of the test lights are in the absorption bands of particular analyte gases, with the reference light frequency being outside of the absorption bands. Analyte presence in the sample is identified by sensing changes in differences over time of test light and reference light intensity. Before irradiating the sample, the lights are optically conditioned by aligning them on the same path, and splitting the bandwidth of some lights for detecting analytes with overlapping absorption bands.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2025Publication date: August 14, 2025Applicant: Heath Consultants IncorporatedInventors: John Wilkes, Euan Smith, Duncan Wales, Matthew Homburg, Joe Griffiths, Vineet Aggarwal
