  • Publication number: 20130180587
Abstract: Disclosed and claimed herein are methods of preparing colorant sensitized solar cells using pre-sensitized semiconductor particles, said particles are coated and thermally processed at temperatures that maintains the sensitivity of the colorant. The pre-sensitized particles are prepared in an aqueous or organic solvent colorant admixture. The solar cells may contain heat sensitive substrates as well as heat resistant substrates. Also disclosed and claimed are solar cells prepared from the disclosed and claimed pre-sensitized semiconductor particles as well as the colorant/particle dispersion.
