The machine includes automatic selection means of the expanding shafts adapted for selectively positioning said shafts on said carriage.

Abstract: A tube expanding drum machine, including a support frame, at least one drum rotatably supported in said frame, rotation means of the drum about its axis, a flexible pipe-expanding shaft wound on the drum and having a first end fixed to the drum, an expanding mandrel or a shaped ogive, connected to the second end of the flexible pipe-expanding shaft, suitable for widening the diameter of a pipe by winding or unwinding the flexible pipe-expanding shaft onto or from the drum inside the pipe itself. The machine includes a lubrication duct of the inner surface of the pipe during the pipe expansion foreseen inside the flexible shaft.

Abstract: Device for expanding tubes inserted in a finned pack of a heat exchanger including support means of the finned pack, a tool for enlarging the ends of each one of the tubes, a mandrel for the radial expansion of each one of the tubes. The device also includes axial abutment means for both enlarged ends of each one of the tubes in the contraction direction of each one of the tubes during the radial expansion operation. A method for expanding tubes carried out with such a device is also proposed.

Abstract: A forming tool movement unit, particularly for manifold closing machines, comprising a rotating head supporting forming tools slidable in mutually opposite radial directions with coordinated movements, a supporting frame on which a supporting element is slidable in axial direction with a stroke controlled electronically, the body of a first double-acting actuator being coupled to the supporting element for rotation and movement in an axial direction, the actuator being connected to a motor, and the body of the first actuator supporting coaxially and at the front the head into which its stem extends movable with a stroke controlled electronically and with the head connected to the forming tools.

Abstract: A vertical pipe expander to be used to expand the pipes assembled with fins of finned heat exchangers comprises, on a supporting frame, supports for rods of pipe expanding cones, performing vertical translational motion and arranged above a seat for a heat exchanger to be subjected to pipe expansion. At least one cone supporting rod magazine is further provided that is arranged vertically with the cones directed downward, for arrangement, during machine setup, at the seat, the supports for the rods being constituted by a rod engaging and supporting device. The rod engagement and support device is associated with a device for selecting the rods of the magazine to be engaged or released.
