Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and a method of guiding a plurality of agents 106 for complete coverage of the inspection area 102. The system and the method provide navigational instructions to navigate the plurality of agents 106 across the plurality of signalling unit 104 for traversing the inspection area 102. The plurality of signalling units 104 are communicatively coupled with the multi-agent visual navigation system for transmitting navigational instructions to the plurality of agents 106 based on pass-by information associated with the plurality of agents 106 obtained at the plurality of signalling units 104 and the pre-determined proximity associated with each pair of the plurality of signalling units. The navigational instructions are provided to the plurality of agents 106 at the plurality of signalling units 106 for subsequent navigation of the plurality of agents 106 across the plurality of signalling units 104 for complete coverage of the inspection area 102.

  • Publication number: 20180232584
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and a system for identifying a vacant parking space in a parking lot. The method includes receiving, by a parking space identifier, at least one image frame from an imaging device. The method includes determining one or more bounding boxes indicative of one or more vehicles in the at least one image frame and executing vehicle classification on the detected one or more bounding boxes in the at least one image frame to determine at least one first dimension corresponding to each of the one or more vehicles in the portion of the parking lot. Further the method includes comparing at least one second dimension of space in between pairs of non-overlapping bounding boxes and a predefined threshold corresponding to the vehicle classification and determining the vacant parking space associated with the vehicle classification based on the at least one first dimension and the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20170235365
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for improving application ergonomics in a hand-held device. The application ergonomics is improved by a layout optimizing unit of the hand-held device which detects a touch on the hand-held device and receives one or more signals corresponding to the region of the touch on the hand-held device. The one or more signals received are validated by the layout optimizing unit and usage of at least one hand of both hands is determined based on the validated signals. The layout optimizing unit determines a user interface layout of the hand-held device based on the determined usage to improve the application ergonomics of the hand-held device.

  • Publication number: 20170027487
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring oxygen level of an environment. The method comprises receiving at least one image of the environment comprising plurality of users from a capturing device. Then, at least one region of interest of each of the plurality of users is detected in the at least one image. A video plethysmographic waveform is generated by analyzing the at least one region of interest. Further, Peripheral Capillary Oxygen Saturation (SPO2) based on the video plethysmographic waveform is determined. Thereafter, oxygen level of the environment is determined by averaging the SPO2 level of each of the plurality of users. The determined oxygen level of the environment is compared with predefined oxygen level of the environment and an appropriate action is performed based on the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20160378964
Abstract: In certain embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for detecting liveness of a user during biometric authentication. The method comprising identifying a speech signal in a pre-determined time interval associated with the speech signal. Furthermore, the method comprising determining a speech respiration co-occurrence (SRC) score associated with the speech signal. In addition, the method comprising detecting liveness of the user, if the SRC score is above a predefined threshold, wherein the detection of liveness further aids in increasing the security of biometric authentication system.

  • Publication number: 20160372005
Abstract: Embodiments of present disclosure disclose a method for providing assistance for cooking food items in real-time. The method comprises extracting instruction steps corresponding to food recipe from sources. The method comprises receiving sensor inputs from sensors indicating execution of each of the instruction steps. The sensor inputs comprises user actions for performing each of corresponding instruction steps, one or more cooking parameters of each of the corresponding instruction steps, and utilization of cooking articles during each of the corresponding instruction steps. The method comprises comparing the sensor inputs indicating the execution of each of the instruction steps with predefined cooking data of corresponding instruction steps. The method comprises providing recommendation associated with the execution of each of the instruction steps in real-time based on the comparison for providing assistance for cooking in real-time. Embodiments generate instruction steps of cooking in real-time.

  • Publication number: 20160132669
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for authenticating a user. In one embodiment, one or more input and target data samples extracted from a plurality of physiological and movement signals of the user are processed to train one or more regression models. In real time authentication, the input and target data samples are extracted from the plurality of physiological and activity signals and mapped with trained regression models to determine a regression error. Based on the regression error, an appropriate authentication signal is then generated and transmitted to the user. Using dynamically selected multiple input and target data samples for user authentication increases the accuracy of authentication, thereby reducing possibilities of invalid authentication. Further, the power consumed by the sensors and computation load is reduced by dynamically powering up and powering down of the one or more sensors based on their usage during the authentication process.

  • Publication number: 20110219340
Abstract: A system and method for a point, select and transfer hand gesture based user interface is disclosed. In one embodiment, a depth image of a hand gesture is captured using an in-front camera substantially on a frame by frame basis within a predefined interaction volume. Also, a nearest point of the hand gesture to a display screen of a display device is found using a substantially nearest depth value in the captured depth image for each frame. Further, an image-to-screen mapping of the captured depth image and the found nearest point to the display screen is performed upon validating the found nearest point as associated with the hand for each frame. Moreover, one of select options displayed on the display screen is pointed and selected when the substantially nearest depth value is within one or more predetermined threshold ranges, and based on the outcome of the image-to-screen mapping.
