A group offer refers to an offer to sell a product at a promotional price if a number of users (e.g., users of mobile devices and/or customers online and/or customers in a physical store) agree to purchase the product at the promotional price within a time period. The group offer is sent to targeted users/customers via online and mobile devices as well as via electronic displays and kiosks in the physical store. By using real-time attributes/dynamics to generate group offers that can be sent to targeted users/customers, the sales of the retailer are likely to be increased.

Abstract: A method, a computer program product, and a system is provided to monitor several continuously transmitted content channels, each providing video information and audio information, or a combination thereof with text information; simultaneously convert the monitored content from each channel to provide data stream feeds for each of these channels; simultaneously analyze each channel feed to determine if a user provided topic is included in any of these feeds; and send an alert to the user when a channel feed includes a user provided topic. In a further embodiment, the method includes delivery of content from the channel feed to a user device, upon request, in a user designated transmission format (such as video, audio or text).

Abstract: A workflow management method for a workflow system comprises registering events recognized by one or more workflows in a workflow event registry, registering new dependency information in an event dependency registry, and registering corrective actions in an event handling directives module. Further, upon receipt of an event, the method comprises identifying workflows that have a dependency associated with the received event, forwarding the event to dependent workflows which recognize the event, determining, with reference to the event handling directives module, corrective actions for dependent workflows which do not recognize the event, and instructing, by way of recognized events, the dependent workflows which do not recognize the event to perform the corrective actions.
