Abstract: A secure method for requesting resources in a distributed computer network is described. The method comprises of a means of securely integrating a request for a resource along with its validation and authentication from a first server with restrictions for the request such as expiry date and IP address as well as other request parameters. The resulting request is placed on a second server which is capable of decoding and responding to the request or redirects the request securely to a third computer to respond.

Abstract: A system is provided for presenting information about waste reduction or resource preservation activities of one or more entities. The system may include at least one server resource that is programmed to generate a presentation for an online medium. The presentation may provide at least a first information item that is indicative of a determination of a reduction by a given entity in either of an identified waste byproduct or a resource consumption. The reduction is a result of one or more kinds of a conservation activity that is performed by one or more individuals in the organization.
