  • Publication number: 20220389952
Abstract: A bolt retention device is provided that includes a bolt having a shaft, a retention portion that includes a radial retention surface extending along the shaft, a sleeve having a cylindrical base with an inner bore, and at least one rib extending radially from the cylindrical base, wherein the retention portion has a diameter sized to receive the inner bore of the sleeve, and wherein the bolt is inserted into the sleeve to align the retention portion with the inner bore of the sleeve. The sleeve works to retain the bolt in a coupling aperture by applying a resistive force in the direction opposite the direction of motion. This resistive force is caused by physical interference created by the ribs against the inner bore of the coupling aperture. The ribs may vary in shape to create different desirable resistive characteristics.

  • Patent number: 11058933
Abstract: A golf putter head that can improve the golfer's ability by providing function features that create a consistent setup of putter head position in relation to the golf ball and golfer position in relation to the putter. Once the setup is consistent, further increase in the consistency of the golfer's stroke can be attained through building muscle memory. From the putter stroke, the hitting face can impart an accurate forward motion to the golf ball upon being stricken by the putter head. The putter can provide tactile feedback to the golfer during the golf swing while imparting a forward roll to the golf ball upon striking and can simplify the visual alignment of the putter head to the golf ball.

  • Patent number: 10960503
Abstract: A fastener is staked to a sheet of equal or higher strength material. The fastener can be staked to a substantially circular shaped opening in the sheet material but other shapes of openings can be used. The opening is prepared by forming serrations in at least a part thereof. The serrations can take many forms and depths depending on the requirements for the particular application and materials being used. The serrations are formed by a doming tool and a punch tool aligned on opposite sides of the sheet material coming together to create the serrations. The nut is inserted into the serrated opening in the sheet material and force is applied to the fastener causing at least a portion of material of the fastener to flow at least partially into the serrations and secure the fastener to the sheet material.
