  • Publication number: 20190116048
Abstract: A method for producing linkage values to be contained within pseudonym digital certificates of a security credential management system for connected vehicles, including the following steps: providing a linkage value function that expresses linkage values as a function of a number of input parameters that include a linkage seed input from a pseudonym certificate authority processor entity and a plurality of inputs from a registration authority processor entity including a vehicle identifier and at least one index relating to a time period for the linkage value; producing a Boolean circuit representative of the function for a particular combination of the number of input parameters; and executing a garbled circuit protocol on the Boolean circuit between the registration authority processor entity and the pseudonym certificate authority processor entity, whereby the pseudonym certificate authority processor entity privately derives a linkage value for the particular combination of the number of input parameters.

  • Publication number: 20020183194
Abstract: A lower &agr;-alkene polymerisation heterogeneous solid catalyst which comprises a hydrated magnesium chloride derived procatalyst, a cocatalyst comprising an organoaluminium compound and a selectivity control agent comprising an ester or ether. The procatalyst comprises a titanium tetrahalide supported on a magnesium chloride ester complex precursor. The internal electron donor ester component of the precursor is generated insitu by reaction of a magnesium chloride alcoholate with an activated carbonyl compound in the mole ratio 0.5-1:10-20. The magnesium chloride alcoholate is formed of hydrated magnesium chloride and an aliphatic alcohol in the mole ratio of 0.5-1:10-20. The mole ratio of the aluminium to the titanium is 10-300:1 and that of the selectivity control agent to titanium is 10-100:1. The process for the preparation of the catalyst comprises mixing a hydrated magnesium chloride derived procatalyst, a cocatalyst and a selectivity control agent.

  • Publication number: 20020055171
Abstract: Identification of the true nature and metabolic action of 3-methyleneoxindole (MO), a naturally occurring catabolite of the plant auxin, indole-3-acetic acid (IAA). Description of the two novel methods of synthesis of MO which produce the pure, biologically active auxin compound of MO. Discovery and description of the causes for the erroneous classification of MO as an inert compound with no auxin activity. These findings and methods of synthesis correct the ubiquitous theoretical errors which have driven scientific investigation and plant science research of plant auxins for nearly forty years.

  • Patent number: 5935209
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention includes a method for managing a plurality of network elements in a Fiber-to-the-Curb (FTTC) telecommunications system. The FTTC system includes a computer system. The computer system is coupled in communications with the plurality of network elements. The method comprises the following steps. Display a plurality of choices on the computer system. The plurality of choices corresponds to a provisioning equipment function, a provisioning telephony services functions and a provisioning broadband services function. Receive a selection identifying a choice and identifying one or more selected network elements. Provision the one or more selected network elements.
