  • Patent number: 11045011
Abstract: The present invention is an assembly, system, and methods for enveloping a sleeper in a lower/higher temperature area of filtered and cooled/warmed air to promote a healthy sleeping environment. The invention maintains the environment around the sleeper between a lower temperature and an upper temperature. The invention consists of a hollow platform supporting a mattress, a cooling compressor/heat exchanger and ducting within the platform to mix the incoming and processed air before the air is blown onto the sleeping area through a plurality of louvers in a hollow headboard higher and wider than the sleeping platform. The headboard directs the air over the sleeper such that the sleeper is shielded from higher/lower temperature air in the room containing the invention.

  • Publication number: 20170023325
Abstract: A trigger block and tamper notification system for use on a firearm includes a main enclosure assembly with an engagement element receivable through a trigger guard and a slide assembly having a complemental element releasably engaging the engagement element on an opposing side of the trigger guard. A magnetic reed switch is carried within the engagement element and a switch magnet is mounted in the slide assembly adjacent the complemental element so as to be in a position adjacent the magnetic reed switch when the slide assembly is engaged with the main enclosure assembly. A control module includes a signaling element activated when the switch magnet is moved from the position adjacent the reed switch.

  • Publication number: 20080276938
Abstract: An improved treatment of obstructive sleep apnea is disclosed. A method and various device combinations are presented. The device combinations describe optimal adjustments to properly position a nasal pillow in each of a patient's nares. A novel swivel joint is described to which a nasal pillow is slip-fit over. The swivel joint prevents loss of a proper seal between the nasal pillow and nare which may otherwise occur as a result of head movement. Also presented is an improved obturator mouthpiece design which substantially eliminates air flow through the oral cavity resulting from leakage in the oropharynx.

  • Patent number: 4191501
Abstract: The machine is designed for the specific purpose of cutting plastic lenses such as acrylic and polycarbonate types. The machine itself includes a table carrying a lens cutter and lens pattern engaging cam in coaxial alignment. A head carrying a plastic lens to be cut and lens pattern in coaxial alignment is coupled to the table for movement towards and away from the axis of the lens cutter and lens pattern engaging cam. The lens cutter engages the periphery of the lens to be cut. The lens pattern defines the finished contour of the lens and engages the cam after a slight radial cut is initially made into the periphery of the lens. Subsequent rotation of the lens and pattern simultaneously results in a cutting of the lens out of the lens material by the lens cutter as opposed to grinding away the periphery of the lens. The machine also incorporates controls for automatically effecting a beveling operation on the lens after the rough cut has been completed.
