  • Patent number: 10551529
Abstract: A colored mirror includes a transparent substrate, a reflective metal layer and at least one interface layer between the substrate and the metal layer, wherein the interface layer includes at least one discontinuous metal layer, and at least one overlayer of a dielectric material deposited on the discontinuous layer. The discontinuous metal layer allows the adaptation of the color reflected by the mirror. The nominal thickness thereof and the type of material, as well as the nature and thickness of the dielectric overlayer, play a role in obtaining the color of the mirror.

Date of Patent: February 4, 2020
    Assignee: SAINT-GOBAIN GLASS FRANCE
Inventors: Yémima Bon Saint Come, Elodie Meunier, Benoit Georges, Virginie Moreau
  • Publication number: 20190330100
Abstract: A composite window film may include a first window facing substrate, a reflecting stack and an absorbing stack. The reflecting stack may be located between the first window facing substrate and the absorbing stack. The composite window film may have a VLT not greater than about 80%, a TSER of at least about 40%, and an Energetic Absorption (EA) of not greater than about 50%.

  • Publication number: 20180095208
Abstract: A composite film may include a first transparent substrate, a dielectric layer and at least two infra-red reflection stacks. The dielectric layer may be located between the at least two infra-red reflection stacks and each of the infra-red reflection stacks may include two blocker layers and a functional layer. The blocker layers in each infra-red reflection stack may each include NiCr. The functional layer in each infra-red reflection stack may include silver and may be located between the two blocker layers.

  • Patent number: 9215760
Abstract: A transparent pane is described. The transparent pane has at least one transparent substrate and at least one electrically conductive coating on at least one surface of the transparent substrate. The electrically conductive coating has at least two functional layers arranged one on top of the other, and each functional layer has at least one anti-reflection layer, a first adaptation layer above the anti-reflection layer, and an electrically conductive layer above the first adaptation layer, and at least one anti-reflection layer of at least one layer of a dielectric material having an index of refraction less than 2.1 arranged between two electrically conductive layers, and a layer of an optically highly refractive material having an index of refraction greater than or equal to 2.1.
