Abstract: A method for managing access to data stored on a terminal device, the method at the terminal device including: receiving, from a first application executing on the terminal device, a request for access to a first type of stored data; receiving, as a user input, a first indication of whether the first application is to be allowed: full access to the first type of stored data, partial access to the first type of stored data, or no access to the first type of stored data; and providing the first application full, partial or no access to the first type of stored data according to the first indication.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing a request for a product. The processing the request includes receiving a preliminary request from a client device for a product including identity information of a requestor and conditions of the product without specifying a particular product. The disclosed technology generates a list of eligible products for the requester to select one product. A determiner receives a request for a product and information needed to approve a use of the product (e.g., underwriting a mortgage application). The disclosed technology automatically retrieves verified information associated with the requestor from various data providers and requests for underwriting by one or more underwriters distributed over the network. The determiner determines a result of the request for the product based on decisions made the underwriters. The client device solicits for uploading additional information and documents needed to fully approve the request for the product.

Abstract: A method for associating partial durations of a voice service session provided via a packet-switched network to parties of the voice service session, wherein the parties comprise a first party and a second party, and wherein dedicated network resources are assigned and/or released intermittently during the voice service session is disclosed. The method comprises invoking, when the voice service session is ongoing, a hold or temporary disconnect of the voice service session by either of the first and second party, storing a Session Description Protocol, (SDP) Offer as negotiated between the first and second party in a storage for a first time duration, and associating, to the party who invoked the hold or temporary disconnect of the voice service session, an intermediate partial duration of the voice service session that starts when the hold or temporary disconnect of the voice service session was invoked.

Abstract: A device may receive, from a provider edge device, a packet to be provided to one or more other provider edge devices. Some of the one or more other provider edge devices may be multi-homed with a same customer edge device as the provider edge device. The device may configure a source IP address of the packet based on a capability of an assisted replicator device after receiving the packet. The capability may relate to whether the assisted replicator device is capable of retaining the source IP address of the packet as received from the provider edge device. The device may provide the packet to at least some provider edge devices, of the one or more other provider edge devices, after configuring the source IP address of the packet.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus related to energy management in a building. In one aspect, a method includes providing a plurality of apparatus. Each apparatus of the plurality of apparatus includes a controller, a light, and a heating/cooling device. The controller is in communication with a control system, and the control system controls the electrical system of a building. A power price is received from the control system at a first apparatus of the plurality of apparatus. The power price is compared to a set point power price. Power supplied to at least one of the light of the first apparatus, the heating/cooling device of the first apparatus, a lighting device in a region proximate the first apparatus, and a heating/cooling device in the region proximate the first apparatus is adjusted based on comparing the power price to the set point power price.
