  • Patent number: 12015975
Abstract: Various embodiments herein disclose coordinating neighbor discovery between access points (APs) with auxiliary radios and APs without auxiliary radios. A corresponding wireless controller comprises a processor and a memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the controller to perform operations. The operations comprise grouping APs into a first group of more flexible APs and a second group of less flexible APs and querying the second group of APs for a corresponding broadcast interval. The operations further comprise identifying when the second group of APs is scheduled to broadcast parameters, and a broadcast interval for each AP of the second group of APs and generating a schedule based on the scheduled broadcast and the broadcast interval for each AP of the second group of APs. The operations additionally comprise providing the generated schedule to the first group of APs and the second group of APs.

Abstract: Techniques for reducing wireless interference are provided. A wireless local area network (WLAN) is providing, by an access point using a first radio. It is determined to initiate a geolocation process for the access point using a second radio. A first amount of interference at the second radio caused by the first radio is determined, and either a hot start geolocation acquisition process or a cold start geolocation acquisition process is selectively used for the AP based on comparing the first amount of interference to one or more criteria.

  • Publication number: 20240183197
Abstract: An exemplary method generally relates to operating an access control device including a motor, a locking member, and a target component operably connected with the locking member. The motor may be operated to drive the locking member in a first direction from an initial position toward a desired position. When the locking member is blocked from moving beyond a blockage position, a target location of the target component is detected. The motor may then be operated to drive the locking member in a second direction opposite the first direction. The motor may then be operated to drive the locking member in the first direction toward the blockage position while monitoring the location of the target component. As the target component reaches the target location, the motor is supplied with a boost current to drive the locking member beyond the blockage position and toward the desired position.

  • Patent number: 11985542
Abstract: Techniques are provided for optimizing performance of a multi-link device (MLD). In one embodiment, a controller receives information about a filter response for a first multi-link device (MLD, determines, based on the information about the filter response, a filtering transitional region of the first MLD indicating a range of frequencies where there is energy leakage due to the first MLD device operating in a simultaneous transmission and reception (STR) mode, determines cost metrics for a plurality of channels by identifying a STR and non-STR (NSTR) ratio for each of the plurality of channels, and assigns, based on the filtering transitional region and the cost metrics, a first radio of an access point (AP) to one of the plurality of channels to enable the first MLD to operate in the STR mode when communicating with the first radio.

  • Publication number: 20240137203
Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein are directed to devices, circuits, systems, and techniques to mitigate the impact of side-channel attacks on a cryptography function in a target system. The Razor flip-flops are inserted into critical paths of the cryptography function of the target system, including at rest blocks such as key vaults and data vaults, and also including registers and/or pipelines used for calculations within the cryptography functions. Errors detected by the Razor flip-flops are processed by error detection logic in the cryptographic function, which continues the calculations until completion. The generated key and data value pairs resulting from detected errors are discarded, silently ignored without disrupting the calculation process. The schemes disclosed herein mitigate the impact of side-channel attacks with a digital logic based implementation, with reduced complexity and reduced cost.
