  • Publication number: 20240086801
Abstract: A job at a worksite can be performed by different numbers of machines, and machines can be deployed to perform the job according to different dispatch schemes. A computing system can use job design data and other job parameters associated with the job to determine projected job performance times and costs associated with different combinations of candidate fleet sizes and candidate dispatch schemes. The computing system can identify a particular fleet size and dispatch scheme combination, among the possible fleet size and dispatch scheme combinations, that is associated with a projected job performance time and a projected job cost that best satisfies a time-cost goal for the job.

  • Publication number: 20230377378
Abstract: A method for suggesting and facilitating customization of one or more operational zones for a worksite on a device having a Graphical User Interface (GUI). The method includes obtaining, by a processor, operational data associated with at least one type of machine and displaying, by the processor, one or more operational areas corresponding to the one or more operational zones on the GUI based on the operational data meeting a threshold condition. The method further includes receiving one or more user inputs from the GUI to modify the one or more operational areas displayed on the GUI and updating, by the processor, the threshold condition based on the one or more user inputs to generate an updated threshold condition. The method includes reconfiguring, by the processor, the one or more operational areas for subsequent display on the GUI if operational data subsequently received satisfies the updated threshold condition.

  • Publication number: 20220284360
Abstract: Enhanced tracking of quarry and mining machine operation is described herein. The method and system generate productivity metrics for a production asset cycle that comprises a plurality of serially connected segments. More particularly the method includes acquiring a production data point associated with a mobile asset. The method further includes assigning a temporal production status to the data point based upon the temporal instance data and at least one of a supplemental production data taken from the group consisting of: a current zone within a worksite occupied by the mobile asset, a machine state reported by the mobile asset, and a time-correlated production cycle-segment status of a further mobile asset interacting with the mobile asset. The disclosure provides, in another aspect, a method for visualizing aggregated production events for a mobile asset operated within a repeating production cycle comprising a plurality of serially connected segments.

  • Publication number: 20220188722
Abstract: Performance quantifying and reporting for machine assets includes storing, in a work plan, asset tag assignments for a plurality of assets, and receiving location information, for example, indicative of a segment of a work cycle, being worked on by an asset. Attributes of an asset, including an inferred occurrence or non-occurrence of an asset-to-asset interaction, are based upon the location information and matching of role-based asset tags between or amongst assets. Performance history of the asset is quantified and reported based on the identified attributes for displaying, on a user interface, machine asset performance metrics.

  • Patent number: 10872302
Abstract: A control system for a machine operating on a worksite includes a telemetry module associated with the machine. The telemetry module generates signals indicative of operational data of the machine. A controller communicably coupled to the telemetry module receives the signals indicative of the operational data from the telemetry module. The controller processes the received signals to create a data model. The controller identifies multiple operational zones over the worksite based at least on an analysis of the created data model. The controller determines occurrence of work cycles of the machine over the worksite based at least on the identified operational zones. The controller determines productivity data of the worksite based at least on the identified work cycles. The controller controls the machine based on the determined productivity data.

  • Publication number: 20200190775
Abstract: A method for managing operations at a worksite includes determining a first quantity of a material moved by one or more machines during a first period. Thereafter, the method includes receiving a first data related to a demand forecast for the material for a second period subsequent to the first period, and includes receiving a second data related to a weather forecast at the worksite for the second period. The method further includes estimating a second quantity of the material to be moved for the second period based on the first data and the second data. Furthermore, the method includes computing a change in a number of the one or more machines based on a difference between the first quantity and the second quantity for enabling movement of the second quantity of the material during the second period.

  • Publication number: 20170038281
Abstract: A method of predicting life of a component of a machine is provided. The method includes receiving input data associated with the machine from a data repository. The input data include data associated with machine events and repairs. The method further includes analyzing the input data. Analyzing the input data includes determining a time difference between the machine event and the repair associated with the machine event, a repair reoccurrence, and the repair and a repair of an associated component. Analyzing the input data includes mapping the data associated with the machine event and repair based on the time difference, determining a weightage of a parameter for the machine events and the repairs based on the mapping, and computing a confidence rate of the machine event and the repair based on the weightage. The method further includes generating maintenance data of the component based on the confidence rate.
