    Abstract: A method and system for determining estimated energy savings from an ON/OFF schedule of a connected power system. The system includes smart sockets with measurement units and ON/OFF switches connected to appliances in a building. A controller enters a baseline energy mode for a predetermined time period where all smart sockets switches remain ON while monitoring energy usage. The controller determines an estimated energy savings of the ON/OFF schedule based on the baseline energy usage and the OFF periods of the ON/OFF schedule.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for configuring guest room control devices in hotel facilities. A user interface displays a guest room control device type selector, guest room selector, and configuration command selector. A user selects one or more guest room control device types, guest rooms, and a configuration command. A configuration command message delivers the selected command to guest room control devices of the selected types in the selected rooms to update device configurations. The devices control equipment associated with respective guest rooms. Status of command execution can be monitored and failed commands can be re-run. Configuration settings include temperature deadbands for different room occupancy states. In another method, a guest room control device copies configuration settings from a remote device over a mesh network and controls room equipment using the updated configuration.

    Abstract: A system and method for controlling temperature in hotel guest rooms using a thermostat with multiple temperature deadband configurations. The thermostat connects to a server and includes configuration parameters for comfort temperature setpoint and temperature deadbands for different room states—rented/occupied, rented/unoccupied, and unrented. The server displays these parameters via a user interface allowing a facility manager to modify the deadbands within enforced limits. The thermostat controls room temperature using the appropriate deadband based on room occupancy and rental status, determined through occupancy sensors and property management system integration. The system can recommend deadband changes based on historical temperature data and outdoor conditions, while calculating estimated energy savings. Configuration parameters can be downloaded to one or multiple thermostats across guest rooms facility-wide.
