  • Patent number: 5521445
Abstract: Device and method for administering timed orders for the remote control of apparatus, comprising a clock (4) adapted to mark the time, an adjuster (5) for the clock, a programmer (6) permitting selecting an absolute wake up time, a comparator (7) for comparing the clock time and the absolute time, and a control (10) which can have either an active condition in which it sends information for starting the apparatus and to which it is brought by the coincidence of the clock time with the absolute time, or an inactive condition in which it authorizes no operation of the apparatus in the absence of such coincidence. The control (10) is subordinated to a corrector (11 ) for the absolute time which retards or advances a predetermined time relative to the selected absolute time so as to fix a relative time. The control (10) then passes to its active condition at this relative time. The programmer (6) comprises an automatic device (12) for positioning the relative time with respect to the programmed absolute time.

  • Patent number: 5481750
Abstract: The process uses the technique of carrier currents between the emitter-receivers (2, 3 . .) called slaves comprising each a microcontroller (4, 5 . .), and a master controller (6) comprising a microcontroller (7) whose memory contains addresses relating to the slaves and to the dwelling. According to the invention, during connection of a slave to the network there is activated the master controller (6) by typing a number on the programming keyboard of the master controller (6), one pushes a pushbutton (13) so as to trigger a subprogram (14) for production of a message (M1) containing the following information: general distribution; request for address allocation; slave address, there is sent (15) the message.

  • Patent number: 5071077
Abstract: An electric kitchen appliance with mulitiple functions for treating foodstuffs comprises a casing (1,1') of which a base (2, 2') is adapted to receive various accessories comprising a bowl (3) provided with a cover (4) and a tool (5, 6, 8), and an electrical control device for the current supply of the motor comprising a detector for the presence of the cover on the bowl and a speed changer for the motor. The electric control device of the motor comprises also a detector of the presence of the bowl on the base, as well as structure for the identification of the covers which are associated with the detector for the presence of the cover on the bowl and which are adapted to control the speed changer so as to match to each cover an appropriate speed of the tool (5, 6, 8).

  • Patent number: 5048402
Abstract: Apparatus for kneading and cooking, comprises a bowl (1) removably mounted on a base (4) enclosing a drive mechanism (5) adapted to drive in rotation a working tool (8) such as a rotating scraper. Heating elements (10, 11) are provided. The bowl is in the form of a basin (12) and an enclosure (13), the basin being within the enclosure and the two being spaced apart. The heating elements are provided in the space (E) between the basin and the enclosure and are distributed between a lateral heating element (10) and a bottom heating element (11). The heating elements are fed with electric current by disconnectable electrical connection devices (17, 18, 19) provided on the enclosure and the base.

  • Patent number: 4852814
Abstract: Apparatus for grinding and straining food products such as fruits or vegetables so as to reduce them to a puree, comprises a working receptacle having a bottom wall and a side wall which are figures of rotation having a vertical axis. A sieve is provided, through which the interior of the receptacle communicates with the exterior. A mashing tool is secured for rotation to a rotatable shaft disposed on that vertical axis and is driven by a motor unit, the mashing tool comprising at least one blade having a frontal attack surface so as to form with the internal surface of the side wall, at least in the region of the end of the frontal surface and substantially over all the height of the sieve, a corner at an acute angle which opens in the direction of rotation.
