Publication number: 20240068726Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine for cooling by absorption, comprising a desorber/condenser assembly comprising a refrigerant and absorbent desorber, a refrigerant condenser and an evaporator/absorber assembly. The machine comprises a first pump designed to recover a solution from the absorber, a second pump designed to recover the refrigerant from the evaporator, and a third pump designed to recover a weakened solution from the absorber and pass it through a third exchanger in which the weak solution is heated before being directed toward a fourth exchanger where the weak solution continues to be heated before being directed towards the desorber. The first exchanger is arranged between the first pump and the absorber gratings and is configured to form a siphon for the absorbent, thus preventing the passage of air, the machine having no electric valve.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 7, 2020Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Ecoclim SAInventor: Vitale Bruzzo

Patent number: 7900472Abstract: A heat exchange and heat transfer device comprises an evaporating/absorbing arrangement connected to a binary mixture flow circuit containing a first refrigerant fluid and a second absorbing fluid. The refrigerant fluid is evaporated in the evaporator part of the arrangement and subsequently absorbed in the absorber part by an absorbing fluid-enriched mixture. The evaporating/absorbing arrangement comprises at least two oppositely disposed reference surfaces defining evaporation and absorption components, respectively, an evaporator mass for supplying the liquid refrigerant fluid to the reference surface of the evaporation component and an absorber mass for supplying the absorbing fluid-enriched mixture to the reference surface of the absorption component.Type: GrantFiled: May 24, 2005Date of Patent: March 8, 2011Assignee: Peugeot Citroen Automobiles SAInventors: Emmanuel Boudard, Vitale Bruzzo

Patent number: 7673475Abstract: The invention concerns an absorption cooling system for a motor vehicle using water as coolant and an absorbent. Said system comprises a circuit designed to ensure circulation of the coolant, when the engine is stopped, from the evaporator (3) to the absorber (4) passing through the electromagnetic valve (10) through the continued operation of the evaporator pump (7) for a predetermined duration and through maintaining the electromagnetic valve (10) in open position after the engine has stopped for another predetermined duration before it is closed. The evaporator pump (7) is kept in operation upon closure of the electromagnetic valve (10) so as to allow the coolant to circulate in the circuit from the evaporator (3) to the boiler (1) passing through the exchanger (6). Said system enables, when the engine is stopped, the zones containing residual deposits of absorbent to be diluted thereby preventing crystallization of said residual deposits.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2005Date of Patent: March 9, 2010Assignee: Ecoclim SAInventor: Vitale Bruzzo

Patent number: 7222500Abstract: When using systems that use the principle of absorption for the production of cold there is a great delay between the starting of the installation and the production of cold. This delay is due to the necessary time for the production of vapour. According to the invention a storing device of cooling liquid under pressure is proposed that is used instead of the vapours produced by a boiler (1) when starting the installation. This storing is done in a receiver (4) commanded by two valves, one called upstream valve (3) and the other called downstream valve (5). According to the invention the method consists in storing cooling liquid under pressure in a receiver and using this liquid under pressure when starting the installation.Type: GrantFiled: September 4, 2000Date of Patent: May 29, 2007Assignee: Ecoclim SAInventor: Vitale Bruzzo
